All freedom loving patriots and support need muster in Sandyhook Conn as the Westboro nutjobs plan to protest at the first of the funerals for the the young victim that were killed on Friday.
We freedom lovers and defenders can't allow these wackos to hijack a true tragic moment and enough damage has been done to these young victims, who did not have a chance to defend themselves against a heartless coward, sorry I can been there myself to due to distance and health issues, but my fingers and mouth still work, so I'm getting the word out thru Freerepublic.
It’s a FUNERAL! For God’s sake, no signs, no bullhorns, no flag waving. If you want to go, put on your Sunday best and recognize that a funeral is taking place. If the westboro dicks show up, form up a perimeter of dark suits and quietly ask them to leave, and hold the line, but please be mindful the solemnity of the occasion.
Newtown is a pretty conservative enclave of Blue State Connecticut. To say the Westboro nutjobs will not be welcomed here could be an understatement.
I'm thinking I wouldn't want to be one of the Westboro Baptist protesters and have to explain this one to Christ.
No hope for the Supreme Court. They have pictures. Same for Boehner.
These people are truly from the pit of Hell :-(
I’m on the wrong coast, otherwise I would defend the children’s families alongside all of you. My heart and my prayers are with them and all of you. God protect all of us from evil.
Contact these folks: Patriot Guard Riders"
I'll do the same.
They were founded to combat the Westboro scum at funerals and memorials for our returning deceased from our recent wars. Since then, they have branched out to give honors at funerals/memorials for all dead active Service and Veterans. I'm a member.
The PRG line up their bikes against the Westboro as*wipes and gun their pipes loud to drown out their awful chants. If too close to the funeral, they just walk around the scum giving them the evil eye, daring one of them to strike first. Since being cowards and lawsuit happy they never do and most times the sh*theads give up and leave.
Unfortunately, since they are mid-west based, I've never had the pleasure of facing down those pr*cks. Have been to some memorials locally.
"The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for Americas freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We dont care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether youre a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where youre from or what your income is; you dont even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all."
I would think the PGR would be willing to extend their Mission to counter any Westboro disruption as the families of Newtown put their children to bed for the last time.
Plus Kevin (correct name?), contact the local American Legion, VFW, Kiwanis, Elks, and other such patriotic organizations in your area. I'm counting on you to run point of this. Thank you for the article and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
Got a post on Facebook that the Biker Community will be waiting for them. I keep telling people not to give them the attention they crave so that they can file frivolous lawsuits against the towns they invades.
"The recent, tragic shootings in Connecticut weigh heavy on us all. The Patriot Guard understands the anguish caused by such a calamity as this and our hearts go out to the family and friends of those affected by this horrific event.
We (PGR) receive hundreds of emails a day requesting the PGR to stand in honor at the planned services. However, the PGR is not a counter protest group. Our mission statement is clear and regrettably the circumstances surrounding this tragic event do not fall within our mission statement. For more details on our missions statement, please go to www.PatriotGuard.org and review the information located in the About Us section in the Site Navigation section.
Again, our hearts go out to all of the families of the affected families, and to the community as a whole, for this tremendous loss. Patriot Guard Riders, Inc."
Kevin, we must respect the PGR for their strict guidelines regarding military only. However, there are still the other organizations I mentioned above. Build on your lead, son.
It’s funny...my mind was thinking the same exact thing just before I scrolled to your comment. And I agree.
Personally, I hope they DO show up and make a big thing of it. It's time the "Dancing With Whoever" imbeciles find some reality - if that's even possible.
Yes, Westboro file lawsuits for the least grounds, and people/organizations settle because of the expense of a trial. There was a person who used to do the same some years back here in Calif regarding disability access in stores and restaurants, and always get a settlement because of litigation costs. I think he was finally put out of business.
Scam artists are one thing, these mother-f*ckers are a whole different breed. I am surprised that my fellow PGR members haven't punch one out yet - against the PGR Mission Statement. But then, who needs a lawsuit to clean out your retirement or go to jail for assault? PGR's are law-abiding Veterans.
I'm thinking seriously about transferring my assets off-shore (not sure which is the safest). As long as I can leave my wife and children in a good financial situation, I would have NO problem confronting such pr*cks, nor the gangsters that are building here in the relatively safe community of South Orange County, CA.
I'm not so much worried about the Fedgov, as I am about the hispanic gangsters down the road. When the SHTF, they will be on the move. Sorry, got off topic.
Good to see you still around. Not sure what the Secretariat music has to with this thread, but it is beautiful. Like I’ve told my wife, background scores can make or break a movie.
Actually, no. It is the mainstreaming of homosexuality that is their so-called "point."
But that is just a whipping-boy for their main point, which is extorting money from the people who try to harm them when they level outrage against grieving citizens. They're just a good Democrat fund-raising family, working the system.
Your post 21 is also very ill-informed.
If not for the Bikers and Patriot Guard Riders there to form the blockade, people in a blue state who have never heard about these Westburro jackwagons might indeed be tempted to assault them. Thank God for the bikers willing to stand guard.
I'm CPR trained, and I'll tell you one thing: If I was at a counter-protest, and one of these subhumans had a heart attack...
>>Patriots in New England Area needed to defend the children!<<
Brady doesn’t need the help. One off game and everyone goes crazy...
Thank you for your sharing.

I think it important to give credit where credit is due? Motion Picture Composer NICK GLENNIE-SMITH composed the stirring “WE WERE SOLDIERS” Hymn ‘MANSIONS of the LORD’ that was sung at President RONALD REAGAN’s Funeral. It is now heard daily at his Presidential Library. This Hymn gave comfort to many in a time of great National sadness.
Now in a new time of Mass Grieving, Fox News turned to NICK GLENNIE-SMITH’s moving “SECRETARIAT” main theme as it’s lead in to TV Coverage of the violent demise of an entire 1st Grade Class and some of those who took care of them daily in Conn.
Comfort is, as Comfort does..?
.
Of course. Take care ole Vet.
