Should Michigan's governor sign a bill on is desk that would allow concealed weapons in former no-gun zones, like schools?
The question is timely for two reasons:
* Under legislation that passed the House and Senate in Michigan this week, gun owners with concealed weapon permits could carry a gun into schools, daycares, hospitals or public arenas if they get extra training. The bill is awaiting Gov. Rick Snyder's signature, according to MLive.
* And on Friday, a gunman opened fire in a school in Newtown, CT, killing at least 27 at an elementary school, including 18 children.

Tough and armed vets as teachers are the way to go. They can clear the way for our women to properly teach kids who show respect and an interest to learn.
My swim coach was a veteran of Guadalcanal. My algebra teacher landed at Normandy. My English teacher was really cute, and she wore low-cut blouses.
We were able to bring guns to school for hunting into the 80s. Still no shootings at my old school. (or thousands of others)

Thats a fact. And on top of it the teachers of today are “ in loco parentis” they have a duty to keep students safe.
That duty can only be discharged completely if a teacher is carrying, or has ready access to a classroom/school arms locker.

The duty of teachers is to keep children safe at school, they stand in loco parentis. That danger now includes shooters who would enter the school and kill students. The answer, and the only answer of any American who has an ounce of sense is to arm teachers and make sure they are trained to discharge their duty to keep students safe.
