Fox News commentator Steven Crowder has filed a complaint with the Michigan State Police in relation to an assault he sustained by a pro-union protester while attending a demonstration outside Michigans state capitol on December, 11. The protesters were demonstrating against the state legislature’s efforts to pass right to work laws in the heavily unionized state. Crowder joined the protests in support of those controversial laws.
The Washington Posts Erik Wemple spoke with Richard Hale, the shift supervisor at the Lansing post of the Michigan State Police, who confirmed that Crowder has begun the process of filing a criminal complaint:
By calling in, hes in essence filed a complaint. Hes initiated the process for the filing of a criminal complaint, Hale told Wemple.
Since the incident, Crowder says that he has legitimate fears for his safety as he is receiving disturbing threats on a regular basis.
Crowder recently tweeted that he has engaged the services of a former police officer to provide protective services for his wife. “Right now I have a former police officer, heavily armed at my house protecting my wife,” Crowder wrote. “The threats are severe. Prayers appreciated.”
Address is not listed on Zabasearch or through any other free source in which to search. Phone is not listed. What a surprise on both counts. Thugs apparently want THEIR privacy. Maybe someone in this city knows more about Tony.
Excellent question. The RICO act does in fact have provision for civil suits and that is how the southern poverty law center put the Ku Klux Klan out of business. RICO, in effect, broadens application of conspiracy theory and makes the organization liable for punitive damages.
Assuming MI criminal law is similar to most states, a misdemeanor has to be observed by an officer, or the victim has to make a citizen’s arrest. Filing a formal complaint accomplishes the latter. An arrest can’t be made on the basis of the video because there’s no way the police can know that it hasn’t been staged or tampered with. At trial, though, anybody who took a video can appear as a witness and show it.
I’m holding out for the PPV Cage Match
TT
When I saw Crowder on Hannity’s program I got the distinct impression from him that he had martial arts training or boxing, and that he would face felony assault charges were he to defend himself from Tony Camargo
Yes, Steven should have totally fired into a crowd while getting his butt whipped. Makes complete sense. /s
This isn’t a federal crime as was the charge against the Black Panthers. Holder won’t be involved. Who would be on the MI jury is another question. The guy may cop a plea and get a day in the slammer.
>> he is receiving disturbing threats on a regular basis.
And prosecute every cucker threatening him and his family.
“I found this dead body, but since we didn’t get a complaint we did nothing”
heh
Tony Camargo
This union Scumbag needs to go to Prison for at least a Year.
I hate and despise every damn Union member in America
They are all Criminal Mobsters, thugs, goons.
I will never support them and will boycott their Products and services.
They can all go to Hell.
The police dont need a complaint to be filed by the victim if they have evidence of a crime. And they have the same video we have.

EXACTLY
Now if someone was attacking a black man it would have been different.....wait no, that happened also......well if someone was attacking a black man and calling him knegar....wait no, that happened also.....well if someone was attacking a black man and the black man was selling hotdogs for DEMOCRATS......yeah maybe then.
No. That isn’t what I’m saying. See #68.
I hope he also hires a Private Detective to nail down all those who are threatening him and his wife. They too should be charged. The media refuses to impose accountability, but as citizens we can still press charges and/ or sue these goons in civil courts.
One of the main differences between crimes and civil torts is that crimes are deemed to be offenses against the state, and thus police can act without the victims prodding.
This is a crime.
Crowder could have take the goon down easily enough. He does MMA and is in great shape.
However, as he explained on FOX, he knew if he took this goon down, the mob would have attacked him. I think he’s correct.
It must be remembered that the chief thug, Richard Trumka is a terrorist.
As president of the United Mine Workers, he condoned and promoted terrorist actions by the union members against the companies, their employees and families and the population of South West Virginia. There were no actions taken to curb the union acts of terror
Good work, and funnier than heck.
