President Barack Obama is the most divisive man to ever occupy the White House –period! Yet, 95 percent of black Americans worship him as if he’s the messiah. Why?
Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx recently took the stage at the Soul Train Awards and told the audience, “Thank God, and our lord and savior, Barack Obama!” Foxx called on the audience to stand up and clap for Obama. His outrageous remarks were broadcast on national television, yet not one nationally known black leader repudiated Foxx.
Barack Obama’s ability to seduce people is well-known. He can bring his biggest critics into a room and have them coming out singing his praises. He’s a charismatic and congenital liar. In 2012, Obama was able to gather young people, cater to their egos by offering them free stuff and convince them that they were wiser than the older generation – and smarter than that old “blue-eyed Republican.”
Black America’s journey from slavery to freedom is well-documented. Yet despite their emancipation by President Lincoln more than a century earlier, blacks in the South were still subject to discrimination. During this era arose Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader black Americans had put all their hopes into. The subsequent assassination of Martin Luther King was traumatic for Americans, but especially for black Americans.
After King’s assassination, blacks were in a spiritual no-man’s land – and they’ve been wandering and waiting for another savior for the last 50 years. They turned to the government for assistance and received government programs and general relief (welfare). The black father was replaced by a government check – and black men made babies and started abandoning their families.

An objective view of who these people are, collectively - say, a computer analysis designed and run by another computer - would be devastatingly unflattering. And they would still label it racist, band together, and refuse to look critically at themselves or make changes.

I think you got it right. My Black brothers and sisters in Christ would never consider Obama as remotely equal to Christ. I think those on the forum that have condemned your statement are not acting appropriately.
I disagree with Black Christians in their support of Obama during the election...but did we REALLY give them a viable alternative IF we are going to discuss this from a “Christian” perspective? Meaning that as a devout Mormon, Romney was already strongly aligned with anti-Christian beliefs and would have used the White House to spread his Mormon beliefs. So, the GOP DID NOT give Black Christians a trully viable alternative so one could REALLY and CORRECTLY say they voted for the devil in voting for Obama. Voting for Romney was voting for the devil as well. At best he was the “lesser of two evils.” However, he was still evil - just sugar coated evil.
It troubles me that Black Christians (Some) seem to put race ahead of their faith. However, I have watched White Christians (Some) vote their pocketbook over their faith for most of my life. So, we are a bit off the mark in hurling insults at them for voting for what they thought were there best interests. To them Obama was the “lesser of two evils.”
IF we should offer a CLEAR CUT RIGHTEOUS alternative to vote for, then we can be comdematory of them. We did not do that this time.
I doubt it that is literally true. If 95 per cent of black Americans have taken on the idolization and beliefs of an illegally installed, illegal alien as their president, it doesn't say much for their ability to appreciate the freedom and opportunity they have as an American citizen. Their eventual slave status will come so quickly they won't even realize they were ever a free person.
What I meant about “not working out well” referred to when they have to explain themselves to God....
I am a Texan, born and raised. When I moved to New York City in the late 60’s my job was to interview and hire typists, clerks, etc.—females only, of course, since I am female. The owner of the company was a native New Yorker and a graduate of Yale. After hiring first-ever black females for the company as typists, the Pres. called me into his office and said “don’t you think we have enough?” I had no idea what he meant and he finally told me I had hired enough blacks and not to hire any more even if they were the most qualified. I wasn’t the racist.
Found out that I wasn’t at all racist, but he was.
Why do blacks need a "savior"? Even before King came on the scene, Jim Crow was fading, the black middle class was growing, and blacks were becoming more integrated into American society. And although welfare state socialism has hampered this process, it has nonetheless continued.
I know of no other racial or ethnic group in this country that looks to a "savior."
Maya Angelou stated it -
the oppressed (ie, blacks) don’t want to be free of oppression,
they want to feel their boots on the throats of their oppressors.
And, in black culture, the white man is the oppressor, regardless of whether there is any real oppression or not.

Obviously, some evangelization need to occur here.
He will prove to be a false prophet. This will not end well.
