Who Let the Jobs Out? Who is sending jobs overseas
Tea Party Tribune ^ | December 2, 2012 | Joathon Moseley

Okay, who stole our jobs?

Democrats accuse Republicans of out-sourcing American jobs. But no one knows how this is happening. Republicans have no idea how they supposedly outsource jobs.

If someone started a petition saying “Let’s repeal section 99 U.S.C. Section 1234 to stop outsourcing jobs,” probably 80% to 90% of citizens and elected officials would rush to sign. The repeal of such a mythical section would probably take 48 hours to pass both houses of Congress and be signed by the President. But how can you repeal something if you don’t know what you want to repeal?

One of Mitt Romney’s great debate moments on October 3 exposed the Democrats’ charade. Barack Obama called for an end to tax breaks encouraging companies to send jobs overseas. Small problem: There aren’t any such tax breaks. Mitt Romney called him on it. Romney said he had been in business for over 25 years. Romney said he had never heard of any tax break encouraging businesses to send jobs overseas. No one seems to notice that the Democrats want to eliminate a tax break or other laws that they don’t identify.

No one seems to know who is responsible… or how the jobs are disappearing. It’s the mystery of the purloined jobs. No one wants jobs to leave. Yet it’s always someone else’s fault.

Curiously, liberals have no problem with illegal aliens flooding America’s job market and stealing U.S. jobs inside America. So are Democrats concerned about American workers? Or do they simply want to smear and discredit Republicans?

So what’s the real problem… and the solution? We have been losing jobs for decades, sinking into a third-world country. American manufacturing has been in decay for a long time.

American businesses leave this country for one reason only:

Government regulations.

Impeach the kenyan or secession.

Says it all. Many thanks for posting. This sabotage started years ago is impacting us in the last decade. Now we are left blowing bubbles to hype up an out of wack economy. Real Estate was a good bubble while lasted. Now we have the last bubble for a long time. The Federal Reserve buying up Treasury issued debt and the prediction it will have 5 trillion of it on its books in a few years

Things will get very interesting because the Federale Reserve is a private bank. Not some USG agency that is at least theoretically accountable, even smart people like Mark Steyn believe this. He made that mistake last week.

Democrats are driving jobs out of the USA, while simultaneously blaming Republican for it.

Absolutely true, and Rats are enabled in this by their sycophant MSM and entertainment propaganda divisions of the DemoRat party.

That leads to Democrats getting re-elected and then causing even more damage.

While Justice and the same propagandist cover up massive Rat election fraud and squeal about "Republican" vote suppression.

Fixing things is hard when the criminals and the government are one and the same.

Apparently, we will be expected to pile up 10 deep in 1 bedroom apts if we are to compete.

You need to quit dreaming of such luxury. Haven't you heard? 8x40' shipping containers are the latest in home sweet home being promoted by the "sustainable housing" bunch.

We obviously need to deregulate in a very big way. Unshackle American businesses. Our overbearing regulations are strangling American business. At the same time we need to regulate how foreign businesses interact in the US marketplace, especially our adversaries that are becoming increasingly belligerent towards us. It’s simple really and a matter of self preservation. You can bet that China does it.

Re: ... The comment to which I responded suggested that foreign corporations do not pay U.S. corporate income tax. Incorrect. ...

For a third time and final this is not quite accurate; in fact it implies all foreign corporations pay US corporate income tax which is not accurate at all.

FYI here's an informative link: post # 21

I'm glad you are approaching the final time. Here's the comment to which I responded:

If the products produced by US companies inside the US are going to be taxed at 35%, it is only fair to levy a stiff tax on imports to level the playing field.

It is as "not quite accurate" as mine, why don't you apply the same standard? And why aren't you arguing that the tax be removed on U.S. companies for their operations overseas? That would "level the playing field," since the U.S. is practically the only industrialized country in the world to punish its corporations in such a fashion.

We have the Republicans destroying the lower middle class worker from the outside and the Democrats from the inside. The hypocrisy meter is pegged on the Republican side, they claim Freedom while dealing with third world dictators and Communists. But the real hypocrisy is blaming the "lazy" US worker for being the problem, wanting freebees while outsourcing their jobs to make a few pennies on the dollar..

At least the Democrats are honest, they just want socialism, and they are up front about it.

I’ve done research. I have yet to find a company on the brink of bankruptcy that moved to China and was saved. The manufacturers that moved to China Apple etc. were all very profitable, They moved to make a few more pennies on the dollar and motivated by ChiCom government bribery to individuals.

Marx would be thrilled to see all those Republicans that agree with him that ethics and patriotism has no place in decisions about the use of capital.

Actually you responded to a comment from Soul of the South speculating about an issue of fairness, to wit leveling the playing field: "IF ...". Raising taxes on foreign corporations was spoken of as a method of "leveling the playing field" if a certain condition existed.

My post contributed the information that corporations both foreign and domestic, especially large corporations, were very creative in avoiding corporate income taxes.

You seem to have confused Soul's speculation and suggestion, and my additional information both as across the board recommendations for raising taxes.

I linked back to Soul's and my posts, in hopes you would realize that without me having to spell it out for you.

I am coming over to your side a bit not for the reasons you think.

That's excellent news. For what reasons "do I think" you'd be coming over to my side a bit?

Tariffs.... Great if instituted by the right people but the right intelligent pro-America people will not be running DC for the foreseeable future.

Ahhh....give the government too much power when the "intelligent politicians" can wield it.

When was the last time that worked? How do you take that power back when the idiots take over?

That's where we still disagree. I don't want to give politicians of either party that power.

How come your are not on FR so much anymore?

Just been busy.

Are you on investment websites?

No.
