Sin in haste, repent at leisure.
One of the few silver linings in the dark cloud of Obamas re-election is that millions of moonbats and Beautiful People who voted this month to continue our long national nightmare are now discovering, much to their chagrin, that theyre as screwed as all the bitter clingers who still go to church on Sunday.
Not that it was any big secret, but its asking an awful lot of the dumbed-down modern electorate to pay attention to its own best interests.
Of course tens of millions of Obamas votes came from the people he likes to describe as working families, most of whom arent families and almost none of whom have worked since Lyndon Johnson. This is the freebies-for-freeloaders crowd. Think the Obamaphone woman in Cleveland.
Mitt Romney used to say they lived in Kennedy country. Then he called them the 47 percent. Now he says they like gifts.
I know, the liberals tut-tut that the gimme girls n guys pay taxes too the sales tax, mainly, on cigarettes and their 40-ouncers. Their theme song is from West Side Story: America, as in Everything free in America.
But as strange as it seems, a plurality of Obama voters probably have real jobs, some even in the Dreaded Private Sector. Man, are they in dire straits.
Take the instructors at Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh.
Their hours are being cut back so the college can get around Obamacare. All you teachers, hope you enjoy being adjunct professors, because you aint getting tenure anytime soon. Wonder who they all voted for on Nov. 6?

You look at how Californians can elect Jerry Brown and raise their taxes and you see how immune some people are to evidence and it does make you wonder if there’s a limit. Heck, you look at Cuba and the sheep in Venezuela who still can’t bring themselves to throw out Big Brother. BUT Californians have Hollywood as a well of money that the whole world replenishes, and they are also a state, in the United States, which can rely on Big Ben to print bailout money taxed and borrowed from the other 49. Once the contagion in CA spreads to the US, there’s no more free money to subsidize liberalism after that and something’s gotta give. We still have close to a majority.
Anyone that spoils their gravy train, no matter how necessary it is to do so, will get the perpetually pissed poor riled up. And the media will be there to assist in anyway they can: Networks Blame Congress, Not Obama, for Fiscal Cliff
I personally know someone who voted for Obama, who’s vote may cost him a half million dollars. He doesn’t know it yet.
He was going to get a million from a multi million dollar estate. After the Bush tax cuts expire, he gets around a half million. He is jealously guarding this million, and already has it spent in his mind. He plans to retire on it.
It’s going to be delicious informing this dumb twit that Obama is splitting his inheritance and pissing it away on Obamaphones and other assorted shit, such as condoms.
I’m stating to sense a little. You have big companies making workers part time and Hostess being put under by the unions.
Obama’s voters motto: “America: Land of the Freeloaders”
while standing in line to get my “black friday” generator, I was amazed at how many people give the country less than 2 years. Bottled water, ammo, and firearms were the big items. To a man they said there was no hope. We have reached the Ugandan tipping point.
For some stock holders it may cost them money. Moving an extra quarter of dividends into this year may put them in a higher tax bracket.
It’s pretty self-serving of me but I’ve long figured I just know better than most people. I did what I could to prevent this foolishness but now, like a parent looking at a mischievous child, I figure the country needs to learn a brutal lesson. I’ll not enjoy it and I wish it weren’t so but I’m prepared to let the $h!t happen and let he pain hit hard. It seems the only way these morons can learn. I wish it weren’t so.
IMHO, no they won't. Obamacare was specifically set up to ultimately achieve socialized medicine (single payer). By putting the 30 hour requirement into the Bill, the Democrats knew companies would put most of their employees on part-time status. That achieves two things.
1) The company doesn't have to provide health insurance to the employee.
2) Without employer-provided health insurance, the "mandate" that everyone has to have have insurance kicks in (with a whole host of minimum coverage rules and mandatory "freebies" making the cost of the policy somewhere between $10-15k). Since the employee can't afford a policy from a private insurance company...say hello to socialized medicine.
Yes, the first few year the uninsured employee will simply pay the $2500 "tax" and gamble on his/her family's health (after the first year or two, the amount of the "tax" increases incrementally). When the uninsured need heart by-passes, cancer treatments, HIV treatments etc., with no insurance, the system will crumble and ... say hello to socialized medicine
Dividends aren't ordinary income, dividends have their own tax rate and aren't progressively putting one in higher brackets. Currently they are taxed at 15%, next year it will be 20%
That's how Romney can make millions and pay a 15% rate, instead of the higher rate that "earned" income takes, most of his income is derived from dividends.
If Obama came to each of them and personally shot him, it would still be our fault somehow. When we are all starving, broke, and dying in the streets, it will not be the fault of their glorious Messiah. No, they feel no remorse.
Talking to one of them the other day about the glories of Obamacare. This is my area of professional specialty and I do know a good deal about it. He said (a) I didn’t know what I was talking about, and (b) it was going to be wonderful, fabulous, etc. I pointed out all the flaws and problems, and he just shook his head in incomprehension. Obama did this wonderful thing for us, but I was still ungrateful? If Obamacare wasn’t perfect, that was just because the mean Republicans weren’t willing to spend enough on it.
How can you reason with that thinking? They’re insane. This must have been how the German people were during Hitler’s ascendancy.
Yes, we are already over the cliff. BO and the Congress are just dancing a fandango while singing, “Stop me before I kill again!”
We’ve been badly governed for so long that most people (at least 51%) don’t know the difference. Our debt is so big (and will get bigger) that the only way it can ever be eliminated is hyper-inflation.
When a roll of toilet paper costs $ 99.00, then money will be like toilet paper, and we can use it to begin “paying down” the debt.
Must have been from watching an hour or so of V for Vendetta before falling asleep. Don't know how it ended, but it was ultra depressing and way too close to reality to come.
There is a good and bad side to having read so much science fiction and comic books growing up. It's cool to see the tech come to life, but quite unsettling to see the same sorts of societal destruction also coming to pass, especially when it seems to be so avoidable.
In those realms of fiction, such destruction is done on purpose...no wonder I woke up depressed. Damn obama voters and the incompetent GOPe.
True. Doesn't do any good to avoid it. Just plan for the worst.
They are too stupid to connect the dots. They will still blame it on evil corporations and evil rich people being too cheap to pay for their health insurance.
I worked for a company in California in the healthcare industry. My former boss voted for Brown and posted ‘Please don’t raise my taxes’. She also voted for Obama and posted ‘Hey, Trump, there are things money can’t buy’. Her business will suffer greatly, but rest assured, she will blame it on Bush anyway. As I said before, you can’t change stupid.
