(Reuters) - Former U.S. first lady Barbara Bush said on Thursday that she's ready to move beyond this year's campaign season, in comments that came at an Austin conference the week after President Barack Obama's re-election.
"I'm tired now of the elections," Bush, who had endorsed Republican Mitt Romney, said at a forum on America's first ladies. "People spoke. Move on, get on with it. I want to do other things and not to be ugly."

You are correct. But I am not sure what is meant by “ugly”. I don’t think we should get violent but I do believe we need to be more assertive, get in their faces and refuse to go along with policies that destroy this country. There is no moving on. We need to rebel and muck up the works best we can. Maybe that is being ugly. If so I really don’t give a damn.
Voting for her son was certainly a huge mistake. The whole family should shut up, go away and take Rove and the rest of the “progressive” and socialist republicans with them.
I think we need to put the election behind us. Get along. Make peace. Stop the bickering.

Get on with what? Watching our jobs disappear. Being taxed into poverty and then having the same government offer us “subisides” so we can afford to live—as long as we get in line and behave like good serfs? Get on with government control of our health care? Do we just “get on” with an economy that expects half of us to work like slaves so the other half can live off the fruits of our labor?
