There are many purposes behind the feminists [lefts] efforts to restructure the military, but you can be sure that greater national security is not one of them. ~ David Horowitz, National Review, October 5, 1992
Here we go again, the left has their man in the white house and they dont have to worry about re-election for four more years, therefore, unfettered by public opinion or sane rational thought, the war on the military will begin in earnest immediately. Look for the left to appoint a 21st Century version of Congresswoman (Democrat) Pat Schroeder to bring the DoD to its knees with some ridiculous accusation or another needless to say, we will see just how much the left really, really loves their veterans and military. Actions speak louder than words.
We have already gotten our first glimpse of this when the white house, in a moment of pure pandering, overturned dont ask, dont tell That most definitely lead to greater national security, didnt it. What is next? What social experiment will the left unleash on what is remaining of the worlds most exquisite fighting force? Rest assured that whatever the left has planned for the military, greater national security is not one of them.
Who on the hill will fight for the military? Who will devote their time in office to the defense of those that defend the nation? Who among the 535 members will pick up the mantle of defending the defenders?
God Help Us All!
Perhaps people should start considering the possibility that, in fact God, has abandoned America.
“...God, has abandoned America.”
Sadly, that thought has crossed my mind a time or two.
Obama might ought to consider that the military might just fight back...If that happens, Obama is toast....
I remember the purge that screeching b!tch lead on the USN over tailhook.
“I remember the purge that screeching b!tch lead on the USN over tailhook.”
So do I, those were bad days — It must be nipped in the bud before it gets started.
The military got used, now it's outlived its usefulness to zero and his ilk. It must now be silenced and neutralized so it is not a competetive concern they will have to deal with in the future...
Why do you think Obama has recently slapped 4 senior generals and 1 admiral around? Maybe to send a signal to the rest of the military to get in lockstep or else?
This is true.............
It may take a revolution...
Sorry .. America cannot go down because God is standing on the drain. This is an opportunity to exercise your faith.
Also, He told us what was happeneing in II Thessalonians 2:10-12. Be sure you read it in the Amplified Translation of the Bible .. it makes it perfectly clear. Remember, God promised us He would never leave us or forsake us; therefore, He can never abandon us. This current circumstance is NOT about us (those who believe in Jesus). It’s about “... that ALL ...”.
Just keep your eyes on Damascus. Isaiah 17:1 says, “Woe to Damascus. It has been taken away from being a city, it has become a ruinous heap.” Hmmmmmm ..?? I wonder what would cause that to happen ..??
Obama HATES the military. People must be aware that this guy grew up in countries where a “military coop” was always possible. That’s my theory. This hatred was bred into him by his family.
So .. this opportunity to totally discredit the military is a perfect fit for “O”. This will demoralize the military.
We must continue to support our troops and not allow them to be denigrated in public.
Why do you think they threw Petraeus under the bus, even though he spewed the party line after the Benghazi attacks? He was arguably one of the most effective and respected field commanders since MacArthur.
Could it be that maybe, just maybe they're worried that he'd be the nucleus around which a cabal of generals and admirals who are fed up with this regime might plot a coup?
To show you just how bad things really are, the republican presidential candidate was trying to defeat DADT almost 20 years ago, and still supports that position.
One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clintons dont ask, dont tell, dont pursue military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.
