Well freedom fans, Glenn thinks the hundreds of thousands who e-signed the various peaceful secession petitions are crazy.

The Parliament passed the Stamp Act and is now the "Law of the Land".
Talk of break-up with Great Britain is absurd, they are the most powerful nation on Earth!
You all can start your own crazy experiment but we need to think rationally! Independence is NOT going to happen and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.

This is our last face saving to prevent us from being completely dependent on Ubama.

I saw somewhere on the web a few years ago where Bill Ayers was talking about his vision for America. He said he expected at least 2 million people would have to be eliminated because they would not indoctrinate.

True. I like the Veggie Tale analogy. In addition to the “prepare, prepare, prepare...”
Glenn has repeatedly urged listeners to move from northern states to Oklahoma and Texas. The inference is obvious.
Yet, he implies that people who see secession coming are insane. It is hedging. Later, depending on what happens, he can say he always said they were kooks.
But when they see it become more inevitable as God fearing, red states defend their citizentry against brazen evil - then - the talking radio heads will go out on a limb and bravely “predict” secession.
In defense of the creator of Veggie Tales, the original episodes contained Bible verses between segments. These were removed by the new ownership, which took over when the franchise became financially over-extended after the full-length "Jonah" movie.
Yet, he implies that people who see secession coming are insane. It is hedging. Later, depending on what happens, he can say he always said they were kooks.

A very astute observation, it (sadly) also applies to Rush Limbaugh too.
Although on his TV show now, Glenn seems to be taking this a little more seriously and is explaining how Ubama's tyranny MIGHT cause a breakup/down.

By seceding, the states that don’t come along, we’ve lost that land and resources. Why leave anything to them and thus essentially give them the victory in that part of the country? If anyone’s going to leave, we mnake them leave the country as it is now, let them go back to europe or africa or south america or asia, we’ll stay here and keep the whole damn country.

I think there are reports because the media will tie all Republicans to this. It will make moderates think we’re crazy, and we’ll lose their votes. The average person is nothing like the average FReeper. You and I just disagree on the outcome this will create. You follow your path, I’ll follow mine.
I’ve never listened to Glen Beck’s radio show. I’ve only seen him on Fox News a handful of times years ago. I never really cared for him.
Exactly. These petitions are a joke. I don’t even know how you would pursue secession in a serious, credible way, but we sure haven’t seen it yet. Unless a truly viable effort should emerge — as proven by the highest elected officials of some state taking real action towards secession — then conservatives should steer clear of this secession stuff.
