House investigators asked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to testify next week about the September 11 terrorist attack in Benghazi, but she declined citing a scheduling conflict.
“[Clinton] was asked to appear at House Foreign Affairs next week, and we have written back to the Chairman to say that she’ll be on travel next week,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters yesterday. “She has a commitment with the Secretary of Defense to the AUSMIN Ministerial.” Per AFP, “AUSMIN is the highest level forum for Australia and US consultation on foreign policy, defense and strategic issues.” The United States is reportedly concerned about Australia’s plan to cut their defense spending.

She’s directly involved with the death of Americans - something she could have prevented and then she lied through her teeth and gave a little speech about a video that sounded like she was reading to 4 year olds.

If I did something tomorrow that Congress or the President sought to either recognize or inquire about, I would respectfully decline.

There may be many trivial matters for which non-appearance is justified. But in this case there are critical matters for the security of the US including possible treasonous actions on the part of someone high up on the pyramid. She must testify and do so truthfully - sworn testimony!

She is accountable only to her master? Her office is the creation of Congress, her salary is paid by the Treasury. A certain deference is in order. Even somewhat who is a millionaire many times, over. Something is going on here that concerns her interest
