Dems wanted to end the Electoral College. Romney wins popular vote it at least shows no mandate. Win was result of our quirky system. Four years of a lame duck President.

Right now I am done with it. As someone posted elsewhere, the problem is not who got elected, but the electorate.
A couple of months ago, Evan Bayh - former Dem Senator from Indiana - said that if BO “won ugly,” he would be unable to govern. BO won ugly.
We are in for four years of disastrous government. It is going to hurt everyone.
I am encouraged that Republicans strongly held the House. I hope they will show some guts. Daryll Issa needs to crank out the subpoenas full force.

The majority of Americans want to keep getting their government checks, their food stamps - and what have you.
There is no longer any shame in being on welfare.
The only “catch” is Americans don’t want to pay for it. But they’ll be happy if the rich do!
I think the next four years have the potential to be damn hilarious.
Americans like freebies.
And half of them pay no taxes.
So its not like re-electing Obama cost them anything. It was a perfectly rational decision.
And that is what has brought us to where we are. If I were rich , I think I would just say to hell with it and split. But i am not rich, so I am pretty much stuck here until a government panel says my number is up.
The 'Rat cities have overcome the advantage. Other than the cities becoming actual, really nasty distopias, things won't improve for the better.

We won’t know who won the Popular Vote until all the votes are counted, including approximately 200,000 votes in Ohio that won’t be counted until November 17. If there was no Electoral College, and assuming the campaigning would have been the same, nobody would be the winner tonight.
My thoughts as well. Just got done talking with the wife about the possibility. She just laughed at me and said it would never happen. But if we nominate a real conservative next time and get beat, time to think about a real split. I don't want to live in a socialist pesthole.

I'm in my my late 30’s and the country and the idea I knew as “America” is dead. The taking class is now in charge and America is finished.
Something is horribly wrong when a record of total failure is rewarded with reelection. ObamaCare is here to stay. Say “Hello” to 2-3 more Obama SCOTUS appointments.
What's next? As I now see it, the GOP will go the way of the Whig party. I do not see the GOP winning another national election. The leftist goal of incrementally implementing Communism while simultaneously destroying the fabric of America has worked perfectly. Speaking in Biblical terms, yeah, I'm convinced that this seals the end. There's a reason why Biblical scholars (and others) can't find a mention of America in the End Times.
On a personal level, I'm throwing in the towel. Finished. There's no coming back from this nightmare that was unleashed in 2008. This was NOT just another election; this was for the whole thing. I also think Romney did the best he could...again, the illegals, fags, feminazis, junkies, drunks, permanent malcontents, etc. outnumber us and that's it.
Cali put Osama over the top in the pop vote. But it’s close. 49-49, Obama up less than 500 K. With the easy E vote for Obama it’s like 1960.
My mom is drunk, suicidal, renouced her faith and emailed me she sent immigration papers to Canada.
