Have you voted Yet? (Vanity)

Posted on 10/31/2012 2:44:02 PM PDT by BornToBeAmerican

I just voted, I hope everyone has or is going to.

The place was packed and it was good to see. I know Texas is safe, but one is never safe doing nothing.

Go Vote

The game in Detroit is to wait till all the tallies are in everywhere else in the state, then create enough to win.

Should be interesting now that we have an aggressive GOP SOS and AG.

Hello PP,

My husband and I voted R&R on Tuesday, also, and straight Rep in Fla, too.

Not a fan of early voting but didn’t want to take a chance of missing out on voting.

Electing Romney will not save the Republic,

Much truth in that. I think that anybody voting 'for' R0mney thinking that he's some sort of conservative is highly likely to be disappointed. He has no record of being other than a New England Liberal. Bleh.

but it will buy time to get it done.

Maybe. That's assuming that Romney, along with the Republicans in Congress have any interest in saving the Republic.

Using the voting privilege to advance socialism should be shameful behavior for any Freeper.

For which reason, any FReeper should be ashamed of a vote for R0mney.

On the other hand:

Thanks, you just got me to go do it tomorrow.

In Texas also, so it’s not likely we’ll affect the electoral vote by our vote - however I want the GOP popular vote to be sky high, that’s my main motivation anyway.

Virginia doesn’t have “early voting” but we voted “in person absentee” 2 weeks ago Virginians have to certify to one of a variety of legitimate reasons that they can not vote on election day itself. Our reason is that we will be election officials and cannot leave our assigned polling place after checking in at 5 am until all the counting and certifying and posting is done at ??? pm.

Good. We are all doing our part to bring home the state.

Also with a 2 page ballot due to amendments we didn’t want to get caught in longer lines on voting day. As you know those were long and confusing,
And could cause people to potentially take 15 minutes to cast a vote if they
Saw them for the first time.

Not having a temper tantrum at all, never had one. All the GOP candidates this election were deeply flawed, it was as bad a selection as 2008. It’s not my fault they all blow.

Sorry bub but you’re full of it. Out here in reality it’s the CANDIDATE’S job to be worth voting for, NOT the voters job to say “well this doesn’t suck quite as bad as the other one”. I mean if you’re comfortable casting your vote for the guy that isn’t quite as big a socialist great, your vote your call. Me, I will never under any circumstances vote for a guy that forced socialized medicine on his constituents. And the fact that our two candidates both did this shows exactly how deeply screwed the country is.

You got one thing right, there is no middle ground, largely because the middle ground is way to the right of both candidates.

It’s a marxist usurper with a D after his name or a marxist usurper with an R after his name. The destruction of America is fait accompli at this point.

Go ahead and sit this one out or vote third party.
Just know you will have helped the homo Marxist/muslim sob stay in power four more years.

You can always tell how bad a candidate is by how much time people spend exhorting you to vote against the other guy. Notice none of you can list a good reason why Romney deserves a vote, only why Obie is so terrible. I know Obie is terrible, that’s why I didn’t vote for him, it would be great if Romney had earned my vote... but he didn’t.

The important thing is to get rid of the Marxist/muslim sob before he finished destroying America.
A vote for a third party or a ‘stay home’ is helping the sob stay in power.

I’m done. Don’t bother addressing any more of your nonsense to me.

The important thing is to understand almost none of what Obie’s done will be undone by Romney. The socialized medicine will stay. The runaway budget will stay (though that’s mostly because of Congress, nobody is ever getting a real budget cut through there).

Whose got the nonsense here? The one pointing out facts, or the one that just keeps throwing the same sentence over and over again expecting it to stick? Reality is reality, and reality is Romney won’t scroll anything back.

“I may have to wear my hoodie.”

Bahahaha! That’s a great idea! We should all wear hoodies when we go to vote and then have lunch at Chik-Fil-A! I also bought a huge American flag that I am going to put up on my barn on Wednesday to celebrate the R&R win!! Let’s make next Wednesday an un-official National Holiday! Fly your flags for R&R!
