"[Governor] Mitt Romney is suddenly plunging into traditionally Democratic-leaning Minnesota and Pennsylvania, and his GOP allies are trying to put Michigan into play. It's forcing [Poor Old] Obama to defend his own turf.I don't think this is whining. Any conservative news provider would, and probably has, said the same thing.
I think Rush is over-reacting here, although I love the fact that the Romney campaign is forcing Obama to defend his own turf.

Obama does not “own” any states. When poller Suffolk pulled out of NC, VA, and FL(?) because they believed Romney was ahead that did not stop Obama from campaigning there. Where was the complaints there? That Obama is stepping on Romney states. This one sidedness is stupid.
2008: No one know much about Obama. They bought into those nice speeches on “Change” from some gifted speechwriter that went into Obama’s teleprompter and that is what people voted for. That doesn’t mean the states he won in 2008 are his—especially when you consider that Bush won many of those states previously. Obama does not “own” states. As correctly pointed out those are our (the people’s) states.

Few of us care but I still hate how the media stuck us with red the color of Marxism instead of giving it to the party it belongs to.
So I’ve addressed it in my tagline for many years.
