Will last Tuesdays big debate moment become Monday nights big debate topic? Tuesdays moment came when the candidates focused on the recent attack that killed the US ambassador to Libya and three others. As the Wall Street Journals conservative editorial page wrote: It was Mitt Romneys weakest moment. Now as the campaigns ready for the foreign policy debate, to be held Monday in Florida, the question is whether Romney returns to the question of Libya. Political insiders in both parties say no. They are predicting the argument will shift to the questions about the presidents handling of sanctions to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons and the administrations testy relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Even US relationships with Russia and China could get more time. So if Romney chooses to go back to the topic of Libya he is taking a big risk. It again could prove to be a blind alley where he gets mugged a second time. Meanwhile both sides fear any factual slip or glaring lack of knowledge in this last debate before the election. That fear is large in the Romney camp as they prepare a candidate with no foreign policy experience.

and by the by....not that many folks will be watching on Monday...It is football season after all and there may be over celebration by some baseball fans.
Your comment represents exactly the kind of mistake Romeny can’t make and must avoid at all cost.
Labeling the Benghazi attackers ‘Al Qaeda’ might score a good debate point but, the next morning it might be proven that it was the ‘Libya Revolutionary Whatevers’ joined by several ‘hanger-ons’ who just joined into the fight for the love of violence.
And, with a little bad luck one of the whack job killers might actually claim to have seen that stupid video and I-g-d damn-guarantee-you the lib media will find that one SOB and have him all over the TV saying, “I attacked the embassy because of the video.”
The bottom line is, tiny details and labels are not relevant to this debate and could create poop storms for Mitt.
The broader points are what needs to be focused on. Don’t say ‘Al Qaeda’ instead say ‘terrorist.’ Don’t say ‘the video had no effect on the killers’, instead say “Obama one day said it was a video and the next day he said it was the terrorist attack.” He’s either clueless or lying.
You see....Mitt can’t leave himself vulnerable to attack from the Libs and their media allies over some non-essential detail that doesn’t really mean a lot to the obvious narrative that we all agree on.
Bottom line: Keep the discussion broad based, focused on failures (Benghazi, Fort Hood, etc ), and tie it all into the Obamas failed stewardship of the economy.
Juan, you are the biggest waste of $2 million a year, for a talking head or anything else I have seen.
Your reasoning is some weird Pythagorean, obtuse, formula only a dip shit, tryin to maintain relevancy in the market place of ideas and rivers of effluence vomiting wherever is convenient.
I actually turn the channel when you are on. I don’t know why but, when you are were clearly PBS material you were amusing and somewhat reasoned. Now you are just some Chinese knock off masquerading as a deep thinker.
You are the Sysiphus of idiocy. Pushing that dumb boulder one way and then another, all the while never getting anywhere.
You are Rock Hard Stoopit.
LOL! That Juan is a real character. Clueless but always funny.
Your image is truly disturbing.
“If he walks into another trap, his campaign is all over.”
Congratulations. You’ve taken cowardice and defeatism to unprecedented levels.
How bout we let Mitt handle the debate, and do what he needs to do.
Stop smoking that stuff; you’re making a fool of yourself.
“Mr. President, tell the American PEOPLE why you chose to squander American treasure, supplies and lives to support and bolster Al Quaida in the entire Mid East.”

If Romney and his team take advice from Juan on anything, they don’t deserve to win.
Please don’t fall for this amateur attempt to persuade you away from the truth.

Fox keeps Juan around just to show us folks at home how irredeemably stupid libs are, same reason The Five keeps Bob Beachball around.
When Romney says tommorrow Night that Mr. President you said last week you were offended that someone would Suggest you would Mislead the American People about an Ambassador being Killed,These are your people ,you send them into Dangerous areas,WELL,YOU,The Secretary of State,Your UN Ambassador,In appearance after appearance Stated That The Intelligence you had at the time, said this was caused by a Video. Mr.President the Sensitve Documentssent by Ambassador Stevens Himself, and there were several, was begging for additonal security. He stated that Islamic Extremism was on the Rise,Alqueda Flags were flying over Government Buildings, the Attacks on the American Red Cross, the British Ambassador were by Islamist extremists, and was going to get worse unless more security was sent.
Now Mr. President, neither you,Hillary Clinton,or UN ambassador Susan Rice mentioned Islamic Extremism,Alqueda at all as being involved in any of these actions on Television or the speech in the Rose Garden or any of the Comedy or talk shows. This is your problem Mr. President Your Ideology, you refuse to Identify who it is who are trying to kill us,you are purging from all Government Corresponce any mention of Islamist extremism, your Campaign until the Murder of ambassador Stevens was claiming that Alqueda was on its Heels, now you drop that from your speeches. Yes Mr. President you have Mislead the American People, your Ideology Prevents you from admitting who it is we are Fighting and the American People Are entitled to Know the truth and to Have a President who has the Courage to Tell it to them
