The problem I have had with the polls is they have been skewing the results by polling D+7 - D+10. If they are still doing that, Obozo is in more trouble than he can imagine. It means that flocks of Dems are turning on him.

That being said, everybody needs to keep working like it’s tied in all states. We can not get complacent now. We need every vote to counter the cheating we know is going to happen. We know the Black Panthers, and other of Holder’s “people” are gonna try and intimidate people at the polls.
19 days to go let’s keep up the pressure. It would be nice to have an early election evening. It will be fun to watch the libs faces as their messiah is sent to Hawaii for a permanent vacation!!

Captain Joe Trippi just reported from the bridge of the Titanic.....”minor collision with iceberg, no apparent damage visible, ship is stable, no cause for concern, band continues to play soothing music.”

I’ll take any win but I think it will be a sizable victory for Romney, along the lines of 52-54 percent vs 46-47 at best for Obama.

People have not been happy with Obama for pretty much the last 2 years. They just needed to know who Mitt Romney is and what his qualifications are. Amazingly, a lot of people didn’t even know he governed a state and ran an Olympics. All they knew from the spin was he was a big bad businessman. Even in that regard people are realizing we need a CEO type with smarts and savvy to turn this economy around.

Early night on Election Day and per Moochelle’s suggestion gonna party hard!

Father in heaven we praise and the glory belongs to you alone..THANK YOU! Please Lord 19 days and counting is an eternity and PEOPLE are beginning to see those evil monsters for who they really are. NOW, I believe what is killing Obumbler is the lies upon lies over the death of our ambassador...PEOPLE are not stupid or fooled and they are ticked off!! THAT DONE HIM IN!!

Romney needs to be ready for anything. There is nothing -- nothing -- the Democrat Socialists won't do to stay in power. I expect some really devious, nasty and, most likely, untrue lies about Romney to come out over the next two weeks.

No one who is up 7 with 19 days to go can lose.

I believe Carter was up by about 10 a week before election.

I agree. This is exhilirating news, but we can’t let up now. As a lifelong Eagles fan, I remember the Miracle at the Meadowlands. 7 points is beyond the vote fraud limit, but we are dealing with an amoral opponent. I’ll celebrate and shout hallelujah when the nice men in the white coats haul an incoherent Chris Matthews off in a straitjacket on election night. Until then, we must be prayerful and vigilant!

If Obama was up 7 over Romney at this point, every pundit —liberal and conservative — would be saying that it is over...

Wasn't the media saying that a few short weeks ago?

"I believe Carter was up by about 10 a week before election."

I believe the actual was about 6 to 8 in late October 1980. The issue at the time was there was a corresponding NBC-AP poll that had Reagan up by a similar amount. Carter's main undoing was his abysmal job approval ratings. Obama is in better shape than Carter, but he's still south of 50% approval.

I don’t trust anything at the moment. Just three weeks ago FREEPERS all over town were bashing polls and now that they go our way, it is a joyous occasion. I am not buying it. We heard the same crap in 2008. I will wait for Election night to celebrate a Romney win if that happens!

In the foreign policy debate Romney needs to remind people of that general who said that our greatest national security threat is the debt. That’s a powerful statement and also gives him the opportunity to comment on economic issues again if he needs an opening.

I wonder what enthusiasm for the candidates was in 1980 though. 81 million voted in 1980 vs. 132 million in 2008. Maybe so many people were lukewarm on Carter they just didn’t show up even though they told pollsters they would.

We probably have less undecided now due to how hot the political climate has been in the last 15 years and how both sides have dedicated media sources to develop their loyalty. So there probably aren’t many who will switch their vote at the last minute, if that’s what could’ve happened in 1980.
