The white house told Raddix to make the first question be a statement that it was an intelligence failure. She gave Biden the answer in the way she asked the question. The white house did this because they had decided the “intelligence failure” excuse is now their new claim.

This Libya narrative they’ve constructed is unravelling like an old balata Titleist that got hit by a lawnmower.

To expand on the “we weren’t told” meme: they purposely axe’d to NOT be told. Now, somebody may have tried to disregard that request by telling them anyway... but they had hands over their big ears.

How can Dems maintain that Joe won the debate when the WH needs to go on damage control the next day over his statements?
There hasn't been the need for the Romney camp to issue any “corrections” for anything Ryan said last night.

I think it is possible that they might not have been told from the State Dept. But, if things were that bad, wouldn’t the CIA have said something???

There hasn't been the need for the Romney camp to issue any corrections for anything Ryan said last night. Mostly because Ryan was not able to say anything last night. I don't think he ever managed to string together two sentences without either Biden or the "moderator" interrupting.

If “ we weren’t told “ then ? how can you claim that the Republicans tried to cut the budget for funding for security ?

Sooooo the State Dept never told the White House about all of those written and telephone requests for more security? Well doesn’t that mean at LEAST that Obama’s State Dept is incompetent, even complicit in the death of 4 Americans?
