And so begins our annual 7th TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot.

TexasCowboy (aka COB1) was a true Texas gentleman, great friend, patriot, and a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment. It is truly an honor to continue a tradition he started many years ago, hosting shoots for FRiends around the great state of Texas.
Many FReepers are coming into town on Thursday so that they can have a tourist day on Friday. Those lucky people are going to be made (a good) miserable Thursday evening by enjoying TheMom’s Kick Ass Enchilada’s.
The only set tourist place is The Lady Lex.
Friday evening we will meet at Captain Benny’s, 103 Fulton Beach Road Fulton, TX 78382, at 8:00 p.m., for a delicious seafood dinner. (They do not take credit cards or serve liquor ~ so remember to bring your cash & booze.)
Saturday morning we meet for breakfast at Alice Faye’s, 910 North Fulton Beach Road, Fulton, TX 78358, at 8:00 a.m. The shoot is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. at, Schwenke’s Gun & Pistol Range, 4407 FM 1069 Aransas Pass, TX, 78336. Mr. Schwenke has reserved the 25 yard shooting station for our group to use as “home base”. The only major rule at this range is do not shoot the livestock. A BBQ lunch will be served at 12:30ish.
Once the shooting is done some of us will be going to the Rockport Seafair, while others will go back to the Pelican Bay cottages for some R&R. Saturday evening will be filled with yummy junk food and margaritas!
According to the forecast, it looks as the weather will be perfect. Lows in the mid-sixty’s, highs in the mid-eighty’s.
That would be awesome! I'd buy one in a heartbeat! :)

Gunner would probably be a better choice, after all that delightful camaraderie for the "Humblegunner Meets Lazamataz" thread. [grins] Y'all can pick your own third wheel there if the accommodations allow one.
Dang! And after you personally loaded all those ammo clips, too.
This is exciting because I really like event-commemorative t-shirts, so I seriesly hope it happens.
Maybe next year I’ll wear my “Lethal Force” shirt, then switch to the TCMS 2013 shirt.
Or “shirts” if they come in colors.
The thread itself was fun. Hated the picture, still do, cannot change my mind about that, but the thread was fun. :)
Besides, humblegunner said he’s my new girlfriend.
Cannot wait to see him in heels. I’ll bring lots of one-dollar-bills. :)

The reflective text wouldn’t screen well I think.
Last time they did come in colors. :)
I think, also, that an “Occupy The Range” t-shirt would be
dandy!...for any occasion!
