I’ve been watching presidential debates for quite a few years, but I have never seen one like this. It wasn’t a TKO, it was a knockout. Mitt Romney was in control from the beginning. He was the alpha male, while Barack Obama was weak, hesitant, stuttering, often apologetic. The visuals were great for Romney and awful for Obama. Obama looked small, tired, defeated after four years of failure, out of ammo. One small point among many: Obama doesn’t even know how to stand at a podium, as he continually lifted up one leg. He would be below average as a high school debater.
There were 1,800 people on Power Line Live tonight, and the verdict was unanimous: it was a great night for the forces of good. Tweets through the evening tracked how the debate went. At one point, as it became obvious that Romney was dominating, my 16 year old daughter tweeted: “So uh is now a good time to mention that I’ve met Mitt Romney?” Iowahawk kept up a steady stream, including gems like: “‘What the hell is this? I was specifically told I’d be debating John Kerry.’–Inside Obama’s head.” And: “Breaking: Choom Gang revokes Obama’s membership.”

This is what has me hopeful.
Last time around, Obama was going to win. It was pre-decided he would win. There was no way he was not going to win. Almost everyone was rigging the election.
This time, the race issue is moot. Race is now a falling issue. It is still pertinent, but less so now every day.
Obama seems to be now on the falling side of history.

Reminded me of that photo from the Situation Room when UBL was taken out. Obama is hunched over in his chair like a 12-year-old.
Always a foolish thing for anyone to state.
But lets hope the debate at least shows a path and reason for the “undecideds” to chose Romney (an adult) over the community organizer (Marxist hippy) from Illinois.

On a lighter note, I wonder if I am the only one who wanted to yell at Lehrer, “Step away from the Botox!” What a freak he is.
I don’t think he can recover from the revelation that he is a complete illusion. Obama now realizes the illusion was his delusion. He’s not the smartest man in the world. He’s the smartest ass man in the world.
We’ll never see his grades or never know if actually attended those places or did they just print diplomas for him like Bernanke prints money?

Thursday 11:50 am est BREAKING PERSONAL CALL FROM TEAM OBAMA. Since I’m an independent, when they asked me if they could count on my support, I blasted his performance last nite, said lots of people feel sorry for him but we need a leader. Being on stage like that is memorable and it was bad. Anything they can do to change my mind about voting Romney? I said “No, bec the next debate is Joe Biden and he’s just material for Saturday Night Live and he’s a heartbeat away from the presidency. Obama could have traded him out but he stuck with Biden. I thanked her for volunteering as she was almost in tears but I didn’t WANT A FREE PHONE had I asked for one. I kind of played it as if I was an undecided voter but after last night, he lost me. (I luv to mind game the leftist lemmings!)

Remember, Obama has 40% of the vote, no matter what. He also has two more debates to “win.” Given that he lies unhesitatingly (”Automotive industry has come roaring back..”) and that the bar has been lowered for him, it is is possible for him to “win” one or both.
Naturally, if Obama “wins” even one, he’ll be hailed as the greatest debater ever.
Well, according to some who allegedly went to school with Obama, the guy did not spend much time in class. It certainly showed last night.
If I'm right on this, the first debate is the fastball setting Obama up for the slow curve.
