The final act of the presidential campaign opens today with two new polls showing the race between Obama and Romney tightening. New polls, released this morning, from ABC/WaPo and Politico both show Obama's lead nationally has been cut to two points, 49-47. Also, in both polls, Romney leads Obama among Independents by four points.
Obviously, if Romney is leading among independents by four, yet trailing overall by two points, both polls have probably sampled more Democrats. Indeed, the WaPo poll is D+5. This is a big improvement over past WaPo polls, which assumed that Democrats would have a bigger turnout than 2008's D+7 electorate....

Only the swing states matter - the other states are already in their usual party columns.
In my political science class in college, our instructor told us that in national elections (president) that people vote more heavily on the domestic issues, such as the economy. If people would get a clue then they would see what a bad economy we have. Hopefully, and prayerfully, we can defeat this communist and his ilk.
Pray for America!!
There was that big a rally in 10 and I wasnt invited!! I was at the one in 09 . . .(realistically I couldnt have come after 09)
The polls crack me up if you look at the latest Rasmussen poll it claims Obama is up 50 to 47 on Romney with leaders, but when you dig a little deeper it says: 43% of voters certain they will vote for Romney. 42% certain they will vote for Obama. Remaining 15% either uncommitted or open to changing mind, Among voters who are uncommitted to either of the leading candidates, just 10% believe the country is heading in the right direction. Only 24% approve of the way the president is performing his job.
The polls haven’t changed the sample model is the only thing that has changed.
Obama is still @ 45% when the polls are corrected for a Dems +.44% turnout model.
It will be a BIG WIN...
