Give up -- Barack Obama has won. With the election only weeks away, it is clear from recent swing state polling that Mitt Romney has lost this election. According to the Quinnipiac numbers, in the battleground states of Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania, the president is ahead by 10%, 9% and 12%, respectively.
Romney can't win. Just ask any journalist or newscasters. He is toast -- stick a fork in him.
Bull...
If anything, the closer we get to Election Day, the more apparent it is that Obama is not only losing, but losing big. The Obama campaign, and by "campaign" I mean members of the media and polling organizations, is trying to convince prospective Romney voters to believe that all is lost -- in which case, they hope, we will stay home.
But just because they say so, that doesn't make it true.
Everyone knew from the outset that Obama, with his sad record of continuous failure on almost every front, was going to air out his inner bitterness and envy, and campaign negatively. But did anyone suspect that his sole hope for victory would rest on trying to suppress the vote of his opponent with naked media bias and polling -- most of which assumes a higher Democrat turnout than in 2008, when the electorate, many Republicans included, swallowed whole Obama's vision of "hope and change"?

Michael Medved was having a cranial explosion on his show yesterday about a poll showing Obama ahead in Virginia.
The internals of the same poll showed Romney with 94% of the Republican vote, and ahead by 11 with Independents.
So how can Obama be ahead? It’s not mathematically possible.
No in 2008 Conservatives were pointing to a supposed "Bradly Effect" that assumed white voters were afraid to tell pollsters they were voting against a black candidate for fear of being thought racist. That "Bradley Effect" was either no existent or very small in 2008.
In 2012 Leftists are claiming a "cell phone effect" to explain why Obama cannot break the magic 50% mark in the polling. Being inside the margin of error, as most polls show is bad news for an incumbent. He should be farther ahead.
BTW, they historic record shows a pretty sever left ward drift in pre election polling
Past time for the Sour Grapes crowd here to stop whining.
Even the candidates they supported are busy working to elect Romney. Sorry your egos was bruised because the GOP did not agree with your candidate of choice.
Get over it.
They were with Opinion Dynamics then. They have a new company they aligned with in 2011.
I think that’s most of what you’re seeing with FOX polls.
If their number are way out of line with all others numbers, then their number is the one nobody believes, not the others.
By keeping it in line with reality, their number is more believable.
Or is it bozell knowss you don't poop on the guy that either pays you or at least gives you free face time?
I have never seen white voters angrier. This translates to huge turn-out at the polls.
Give or take a few million that's darned near a DEAD HEAT!
Naw, looking to 2010 as a guide to turnout so you could reformat your poll results (which would, as if by magic, turn into something other than random sampling results as soon as you do that) would probably get you to pretty close to where we are now ~ with Obama still winning the electoral vote count.
Gotta' do better than that!
Personally I think Romney loses big time unless he gives up this idea that he has to avoid insulting independents ~ he**sbe**s he had no problem insulting me, so why not them?
the polls are certainly reflecting that situation ~ now live with it ~ and next time listen to your betters. First rule, avoid the doufous when it comes to candidates!
EPA, OSHA, wage and price controls etc - I don't.
They turned out to vote for Jim Webb, one of their kind, and so did the black voters ~ and they are actually the Democrat party in this state except in Arlington and Alexandria ~ there the gays and commies hold sway.
Republicans have trouble winning elections here ~ mostly because they are a minority, but also because they never know if the Democrats will get all their factions out to vote. The current feminist tinged pelvic thrust pushing Kaine might well discourge black Democrat Evangelicals to NOT SHOW UP
Whatever the polls say about the race in VA it's tight ~ so tight ~ tighter than a frozen pickle jar lid encrusted with an inch of salt inside and two inches of shelf dust outside. Watch the candidates ~ they've discovered how close it is. Yesterday Romney himself was almost reduced to house to house coverage around here ~ just a few blocks away in fact ~ there he was pandering for veteran votes at the local Legion hall ~ actually less than two blocks from where I vote.
“I believe the MSM (including FNC) are trying to make this race more interesting (more viewers) “
Bingo - They are all becoming like the National Enquirer - Fox is just one of them. Because really who would care to watch the news if we all knew there really wasn’t any news. The conflict between right and left is created by the media to crank up the number of eyeballs and ears tuned to the media. (Remember this is how they make their money.)
I remember a while back when Rush said on the air that Clinton was the best thing for his career.... The conservative talk shows are doing great right now.... So Romney will never look like the clear winner. Probably in the end, if they are lucky, we will have another Florida replay of 2000.
Compared to the Democrats he did good.
If we'd even bothered showing up for that phoney primary the nut case would have beaten mittens. As it is we had an historic low primary turnout. I doubt we'll ever use that method again ~ back to the caucus and convention business. Too much bs to actually make primaries worthwhile around here anyway AND they let democrats vote in them. That's your mittens vote in Virginia ~ democrats gave him their votes ~ they won't do that again.
Definitely, they always oversample Dems as well.
FWIW, there’s a lot of Arab money behind Fox these days. Follow the trail...
Fox releases that poll and then has Rove on to say it's a bunch of crap. Good TV dontchaknow...
Yeah, but I’ve never heard Rove diss the Fox polls.
Granted, most of us didn't pick this horse but he's our horse and we'll support him. I'm just going to wait for your mea culpas if Romney wins and governs like a democrat.
