Give up -- Barack Obama has won. With the election only weeks away, it is clear from recent swing state polling that Mitt Romney has lost this election. According to the Quinnipiac numbers, in the battleground states of Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania, the president is ahead by 10%, 9% and 12%, respectively.
Romney can't win. Just ask any journalist or newscasters. He is toast -- stick a fork in him.
Bull...
If anything, the closer we get to Election Day, the more apparent it is that Obama is not only losing, but losing big. The Obama campaign, and by "campaign" I mean members of the media and polling organizations, is trying to convince prospective Romney voters to believe that all is lost -- in which case, they hope, we will stay home.
But just because they say so, that doesn't make it true.
Everyone knew from the outset that Obama, with his sad record of continuous failure on almost every front, was going to air out his inner bitterness and envy, and campaign negatively. But did anyone suspect that his sole hope for victory would rest on trying to suppress the vote of his opponent with naked media bias and polling -- most of which assumes a higher Democrat turnout than in 2008, when the electorate, many Republicans included, swallowed whole Obama's vision of "hope and change"?

Are you counting Fox in that “media in the tank”..Their polling released this AM shows Obama +5.
Yes, the Fox is “in the tank.” Their polls are among the worst. I wish they would hire someone decent to them, like Rasmussen.
good question..FOX seems to be heading left ..with all the used up has been msm pesonalities they have been hiring..a bunch of juan williams and worse.I had to stop waching
Lets consider if 2008 was the pinnacle status of the United States of America. What would you do? How will it effect all your life?
I believe the pinnacle of human history 0000 year 0 month 0 day 0!!!!
Lets consider the world knows it time based on Christ’s life....
I sure like the confidence of this piece, and the comments afterwards.....I hope it is confidence that is rightly placed.
I just asked if Fox is in the tank for Obama since their polling shows him being +5.
There are NO decent pollsters. They are media whores in the bag for whomever hires them. Poll questions, demographics and the population polled are tinkered with and massaged until they show the results desired by the paying client. Polls are 100% useless in my book. You are better off composing your own question and making 100 random calls...at least you’ll save yourself a bundle.
They do seem have Rasmussen on, especially Hannity’s show. Why they didn’t team with him for polling is a mystery. It’s funny how Bozell doesn’t go after Fox’s polling as being biased, but he will CNN’s when their polling shows similar results.
I've been on top of that prospect for most of a year ~ ever since someone revealed Romney had some financial resources outside his traditional Boston crowd and his Bain cronies.
Of course Obamugabe has to campaign on suppressing the Republican vote ~ that's always been the case. The reason is simple HIS POPULARITY is in steep decline and has been for nearly 3 years ever since the details of Obamakkkare began surfacing.
Obamugabe was elected after a massive voter registration and get out the vote campaign that moved historic numbers of people to the polls. He got 69 million votes! The Republicans got out only 59 million ~ not even an historic high for them.
The Democrats can waste several million votes ~ 10 million of them ~ if the Republicans only do as well as they did in 2008.
But he may already have wasted those voters but he has an ace in the hole ~ an unpopular Republican to run against, but he's not so unpopular that he can't do as well as McCain ~ yet, the Democrats need a bigger margin, so the solution is to discourage Republican voters. The poll thing is symptomatic, but it is not determinative. Democrats may well think it is, but it isn't. Most folks have become leery of polls, but it was noted just yesterday by one of the network talking heads, and also by Mark Levin, that we've had more polls this year already than in all other presidential campaigns in the last century.
Polls are so numerous because they are no longer effective in persuading voters to show up or not show up, or to vote for one candidate or the other. We are finally immune to their siren call.
So, what other idea do the Democrats have? Maybe they figure they have an edge in the debates, maybe not. Keep your eyes open. Then there's the phenomenon where the GOP-e early own discouraged Conservative participation in the campaign, and presumably in the election itself ~ they know what they did ~ and it may well discourage some people from voting ~ they certainly think so now. That particular activity was made at a time when they imagined their boy Romney would only become more popular with time. That he became less popular and more disliked wasn't in the cards, but the Democrats didn't plan on that with Obamugabe either.
The pros have lost their sharpness and now both sides have only one trick left in the bag ~ to discourage voters from showing up.
I"m showing up anyway, and I"ll vote how I wish and neither the Obamabots nor the Mittbots can change my mind with their dire threats of impending doom or cities burning.
Let 'em burn if it comes to that. I don't live there.
I've missed Tricky Dick since the day he flew off in a helicopter over my office into history. We could see him wave!
Whoa there. Who said anything about throwing in the towel? I asked if Fox’s polling is in the tank for Obama since it is showing a favorable result toward Obama. Never said anything about throwing in the towel. If the polls reflect the reality of the moment, then people better get working. You’re circling the wagons around the wrong thing. I’m not your problem. The undecideds are.
Fox polling actually stinks and have for a long time.
Cool.
I believe the MSM (including FNC) are trying to make this race more interesting (more viewers) than it is by intentionally quoting these bogus polls. Shame on them. Their already tarnished reputation is only going to get worse.
The good news is that since they have to try to make this race close is great news for Romney. I imagine his internal polling is much more optimistic.
Barring massive election fraud (which could happen) the Kenyan is going down. Maybe in historic numbers.
I wish people would go over to therightschoop.com and get the new PA GOP television ad posted there and help it go viral. It’s one of the best ads put together yet this season.

typo. check out the PA GOP commercial.
