Actor Samuel L. Jackson has teamed up with the Jewish Council for Education and Research to make a new, aggressive ad in support of President Obama that seems designed to generate controversy in addition to votes.
The ad is titled "Wake the F--- Up!" and is told in the same storybook style as the Jackson-narrated Go the F--- to Sleep audiobook, which is a parody of the popular children's book.
The ad is a jarring change of pace from the usual 30-second spot. It clocks in at just over three minutes long and features obscenity-laced dialogue juxtaposed with children and an elderly couple sharing an intimate moment. In other words, while it's sure to be an Internet hit, don't plan on seeing this ad on your television anytime soon.

I was thinking about this, which makes complete sense why the MSM is trying to depress Republican turnout by declaring the race over even before the first debate. However this could backfire and cause an unexcited Dem base to become complacent that Obama is going to win anyway. The MSM is going to have to make huge contortions to play it both ways.

Obama has failed to do his duty let alone his job. Frankly he should have been impeached long ago. That he has a serious chance to be re-elected tells me the people of this Nation have lost their sense of morality and direction.

Here we go again with the hyphenated American mime. Why do folks insist on calling black folk African-American? Either one is an African (from the continent of Africa or South Africa) or an American.
Now Samuel L Jackson appears to be in the second stage of dementia. The use of vulgar words around children or in public indicates his lack of respect to his local and extended community. Shame on you Samuel L Jackson. I am a sailor at heart and respect those within earshot of my words.

I live aboard, and one of my closer friends is a black man who lives on a beautiful 50’ sailboat with a complete music and media studio on it, he’s retired from the Navy (submarines) and when he got out he bought the sailboat invested in all this equipment, he works at TV studios plus he has his own music gigs and films videos and commercials... he makes money hand over fist, he could leave tomorrow to sail to any place in this world that he wants...he could go to the South Pacific and stay there and just live off of the savings for the rest of his life if he wanted to...AND YET... when you engage him in political discussion, he invariably goes right back to the same victim party line: It’s impossible for a black man to get anywhere or to do anything or to make a success of themselves in this country because of some invisible white corporate stranglehold that denies every black man any chance at an opportunity. You can do everything in the world up to and including holding a mirror right in front of his own face, and he answers, Well I’m different. Well, hell yes, you’re different, you worked for it, what’s stopping anybody for working for what they want, white or black or red or purple?
His arguments basically begin to sound like they are recorded... to my mind, the victim mentality is some kind of bizarre twisted religion, or, should I say cult...because they seem to need deprogramming more than anything else.
