The wheels appear to be coming off a two week attempt by the Obama Administration to cover up its fatal security failures at our consulate in Libya and to cover up the very fact that this was a successful pre-planned terrorist attack that cost four American lives, including that of our Libyan Ambassador, Christopher Stevens.
Not only has the scandal picked up steam in the mainstream press (Jake Tapper's ABC News report tonight is a must-watch), but high-ranking members of the President's own party are now demanding answers. This includes the man most often cited as a likely Secretary of State should Obama win a second term, Senator John Kerry:
Senate Democrats joined Republicans Thursday in questioning the Obama administration's handling of the fatal Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya and why the administration refused for days to acknowledge that it was a terrorist attack linked to al Qaeda.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chaired by Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., circulated a bipartisan letter addressed to Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides, asking for an "accounting of the attacks against U.S. missions in Egypt, Libya and Yemen," according to a copy obtained by The Washington Examiner.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper has been pounding away at this. He’s the only one on CNN who has.
.but since it’s Obama, he is cocky enough to believe he can get away with it.
Believes he can get away with it? He KNOWS he can get away with it.
And with Watergate...remember, too...NO ONE DIED! Anyone who swallowed this Administration's story about a film causing the attacks was just plain naive. Anyone believed him after a few days was just blinded by their own unbending adoration of the man who has been playing them for fools for almost four years. Anyone who now still supports him is clearly more concerned more about their own egos and being proved wrong, than they are about the Americans who died, and the threat looming in our future under Obama's policies.
We had another 9/11....this Administration was warned, it was not prepared, and it disgustingly referred to the terrorist's attack as a "bump in the road." How could Obama's disdain for innocent Americans, and for this country, be any more TRANSPARENT?
There goes his Secretary of State appointment (or maybe this was sent because he was out of the running...)

The dems trying to save their high-life. Nobama is going to get whacked this November. I would pay attention to the dems on the ballot this year that are involved.

A diplomat knows many things that goes on in the US.
No I heard them announce the group that is suspect, but I haven’t heard the group claim yet that they did it. Normally we hear that so-so claimed the attack.

The hospital thing would have occurred during the day. Stevens could have received the weapons tip from someone he trusted. He was more than a simple diplomat.
My opinion is that it was a blood sacrifice to al qaeda BY this administration to assuage the killing of yahya al libi. Stevens was expendable. It was done by clinton with the USS Cole to assuage mubarak for the Egypt Air insult when he needed mubarak’s cooperation.
An eye for an eye. A ship for a plane.
The silly movie thing was window dressing. The real target of 9/11 was Stevens and there is not a single doubt in my mind.

When Bush was in office a strike like that would have been ‘used’ to demonstrate how we still need a strong hand ...
For 0bama it means a major cover-up? Instead of saying things to encourage more support for what appears to be a fairly supportive, but weak, Libyan government?
