War On Terrorism: Intelligence sources believe the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya was tied to al-Qaida and led by a former Gitmo detainee released in 2007 and handed over to Libya.
Intelligence sources have told Fox News they are sure the deadly attack was directly tied to al-Qaida and a former Guantanamo detainee Sufian bin Qumu (full name Abu Sufian Ibrahim Ahmed Hamuda Bin Qumu). Given the track record of former Gitmo detainees being released, only to return to killing Americans, we are not surprised.
On Wednesday's Special Report, Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge reported that intelligence sources believe Qumu was likely involved in the attack, and even may have led the siege on the consulate that killed four Americans including our ambassador to Libya.
Since he was released from Gitmo in 2007, the Obama administration which claims that thousands of demonstrators, after viewing a several-months-old short American film, spontaneously showed up at our Libyan embassy will no doubt say this was President George W. Bush's fault, too.
Qumu was transferred on Sept. 28, 2007, to Libyan custody on the condition that he be held in a Libyan prison. Instead, Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi in 2010 freed him from the notorious Abu Salim prison in Tripoli, along with 37 other prisoners, to celebrate the dictator's 41st year in power.
In 2011, he became the leader of a band of fighters in his hometown of Derna during the Libyan civil war.

Just remember that Obama wanted them shipped to and tried in the states...specifically NYS. 9-11 must have slipped his mind.
And do we REALLY know that Khadaffi released him?? The whole damn administration lies....
Did Eric Holder or anyone in the firm he worked for in 2007 represent this guy and get him moved to Libya.
If yes the who did he deal with and did they have any contact in the last few months?
Fast and Furious Mideast.
Holder’s former firm, Covington & Burling represented 14 Gitmo detainees. Still looking to see which ones:
“Guantanamo Bay Detainees
We currently represent fourteen men detained at the United States Naval Station at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Most of the men have been detained for approximately eight years and none have been charged with any crimes. Following the decision by the Supreme Court in Boumediene v. Bush, 128 S. Ct. 2229 (2008), holding that the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus extends to detainees held at Guantánamo Bay, we are challenging the legality of our clients detentions in habeas proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Of the seven cases that have gone to merits hearings thus far, Covington has won four, lost two, and is awaiting a decision in one other. Two prior clients were released without a hearing.
The firm has been involved in the Guantánamo related litigation for the last six years. In addition to the on-going habeas corpus proceedings, our efforts have included: bringing cases for review of enemy combatant classification decisions in the D.C. Circuit under the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005; challenging the destruction of CIA torture tapes in federal court; filing amicus briefs and coordinating the amicus effort in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, 548 U.S. 557 (2006); filing amicus briefs in support of Supreme Court review in Moussaoui v. United States, 382 F.3d 483 (4th Cir.), cert denied, 544 U.S. 931 (2005); challenging the governments practice of redacting information from documents given to security-cleared habeas counsel; and challenging the abusive medical and living conditions that the detainees experience at Guantánamo.”

I believe the CCR represented him. The CCR has strong ties to Covington & Burling:
“And then there is the Center for Constitutional Rights, a Marxist organization that for years has coordinated legal representation for terrorists detained at Guantanamo Bay. The CCR has been attempting to convince Germany, France, Spain, and other countries to file war-crime indictments against former Bush administration officials, including President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and Secretary Rumsfeld. In representing Americas enemies, CCR has collaborated with many private lawyers, who also volunteered their services several of whom are now working in the Obama Justice Department. Indeed, Holders former firm boasts that it still represents 16 Gitmo detainees (the number was previously higher). And, for help shaping detainee policy, Holder recently hired Jennifer Daskal for DOJs National Security Division a lawyer from Human Rights Watch with no prior prosecutorial experience, whose main qualification seems to be the startling advocacy she has done for enemy combatants.”

WOW, that was easy: She is in the dept of Justice, This is crazy:
Jennifer Daskal
Jennifer Daskal is an American lawyer who serves as senior counsel for Human Rights Watch, and focuses on issues of terrorism, criminal law and immigration.[1][2] She is also currently a political hire at the Department of Justice, which is seeking to prosecute terror suspects through the criminal justice system instead of through military tribunals.[3][4]
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Cambridge and Brown University and a Marshall Scholar,[5] Daskal garnered attention after traveling to the countries to which Guantanamo captives have been released, to verify that those countries are abiding by the undertakings they made to the US Government to respect the returned captives’ human rights.[6]
On February 23, 2010, the New York Post reported that Daskal, Neal Katyal, and three other lawyers who had worked on behalf of the civil rights of Guantanamo captives, had been serving on the Obama administration’s task force reviewing the status of the remaining Guantanamo captives.[7] The paper had first questioned her appointment to the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, in July 2009, and then again in January 2010

US Airs Obama TV Ad in Pakistan Disavowing Prophet Video
Friday, September 21, 2012 06:44 AM
The U.S. State Department is airing a message on television channels in Pakistan with President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton disavowing an anti-Islamic film that triggered riots.
Ghaddafi TOLD US that the rebels were being led by the Gitmo detainees and that’s who we are supporting. I’d say he was right.
“I will side with the Muslims”.
So what is the “lesson learned”?
It is that we must never let the Trojan Horse Hussein or his willing servants loose again once he is (and they are) tried and convicted of destroying the United States of America.
By airing a TV message denouncing the video, Obama is playing into the hands of Al Qadea who knew our nitwit leader would bow and grovel.
From Weekly Standard:
“The American embassy in Cairo first drew attention to the film in its statement. And the administrationafter initially distancing itself from that statementhas made it the centerpiece of its public relations campaign ever since, as protests spread to more than 20 countries. The result: Every Muslim with access to media is now aware of a bizarre video that had a few thousand views on YouTube on September 10.
” Thats exactly what the radicals wanted, according to a U.S. intelligence official familiar with the reporting on Egypt. The focus on the film was an information operation by jihadists designed to generate rage against America. If hes right, it worked.”

“Ghaddafi TOLD US that the rebels were being led by the Gitmo detainees and thats who we are supporting.”
Yes, he argued that the “rebels” were terrorists. Obama ignored him.
This is after he turned over his nuclear weapons program asking that the US not remove him like Saddam.
Will the next dictator be likely to give up weapons programs?
