President Obamas re-election hopes should be growing dimmer by the hour.
His domestic policy has caused unprecedented suffering: high unemployment, gas prices that have doubled, and record numbers on food stamps and disability.
His foreign policy has emboldened our enemies. Our embassies are under attack and Irans genocidal leaders are closer to acquiring nuclear weapons.
And yet it is a tight race. How can that be?
Perhaps the polls are wrong. But its more likely that decades of media propaganda and public school indoctrination, as well as growing dependency on government, are taking their toll.
Conservative pundits complain that poll samples are skewed in favor of Democrats. When polls conducted just prior to elections are compared with the actual election results, they are frequently found to have overestimated Democrats strength. And there are many other potential sources of error in polls. Most polls are conducted via landline telephones despite the fact that more and more people use cellphones exclusively. Some people also believe that conservatives are less likely to participate in polls.
But even polls conducted by Fox News and the Wall Street Journal show President Obama ahead. If we give Romney a 3-point handicap, then the race is dead even.
The media influences how people perceive the issues and candidates, which is why responsible news organizations should strive to be accurate and fair. The fact that most reporters and editors are left-of-center is not necessarily a problem. But it is a problem that many reporters and editors have bought into the idea that since perfect objectivity is unattainable there is no point in trying to be objective. Some of these journalists end up becoming full-fledged propagandists.
The medias role as propagandist is evidenced in several ways. News stories freely mix opinion with fact. Interviews are conducted not to gather

Here’s a clue, the polls are all skewed to turn us and those writing articles like this that we read off.
Quit reading about Romney losing, and quit thinking he is, because the truth is Romney is going to win HUGE!
However, when we get conservative bloggers writing stupid articles like this that put it in doubt, then they help the left and Obama by pissing on the fire in the ranks of conservatives who may not like Romney, but will be the ones who carry him to an unprecedented win over the One.
Now, that we have the Internet, live TV debates can be broadcast to a much larger audience with repeated pounding of the debater's words. Thus, having a greater impact than back in 1980.

Because Obama’s Job Approval is around 50%. As long as his Job Approval is high, the election will be close, regardless of the opposition.
This is an obvious point that many seem to miss.
It’s not.
In 1980 Reagan was known to be a hard core right winger, it was known that the election was truly between two radically different visions and approaches to government and policy. All Reagan had to do was convince that he wasn’t too scary.
This election has a Jimmy Carter type figure, but the man running against him is eerily similar in so many ways, Romneycare, abortion, anti-gun, the gay agenda, pathological lying, foreignness, devoted hostility to Christianity, little political success in their past, and zero conservative activities or political accomplishments (or efforts).
Romney literally could have held office as a liberal democrat Governor, and have announced as a democrat presidential candidate in 2006.
From registering to vote at age 21 until 2005, Romney’s place on the political spectrum was ‘democrat’, that is why he left the party when Reagan won the nomination in 1979, and did not return until, after weighing both parties, he decided to reregister GOP, as a Massachusetts republican, declaring William Weld his republican mentor.
Go to unskewedpolls.com and you will see thats it is not even close for Obama...Romney will win in a landslide.
I would use Reagan's remarks verbatim. The parallels between Idiot Obama and Carter are already astounding.
>Because people are idiots.
Welcome to the club!!
If the Media spent half the time on their feet exposing Obama as they spend on their knees giving him a Lewinski, Obama wouldn’t stand a prayer.
My theory: Half the people in the country are leftist sympathizers.
I agree 1000 percent. You would see 100 times more Romney bumper stickers and signs if people knew their cars wouldn’t be keyed by the kind of scum that is now a Democrat voter. They are freaken looney and plain psycho anymore. Here in Montana in 2008 we saw tons of Obama stickers and signs. I have not seen one 2012 yet. Also in 2008 many people spoke favorably of Obama. No-one has a nice thing to say anymore. No-one.
Where I live people are crazy proud to carry political bumperstickers, literally years after the race is over. Many of them are quite provocative, and no one gets keyed.
Obama has far fewer than in ‘08, and Romney has almost none. People here will vote for Romney, but no one is going to be very loud and proud about it.
Both of these vapid, egotistical and weird, alienated men are unpopular, whether it is the one who derives from the Indonesian madrasa or the one who derives from the Mexican chicken ranch.
I’ve had a Romney/Ryan sticker with a Nobama sticker right under it on my back car window since the week after the RNC convention. So far no keying. And although I live in a very liberal town in Missouri, I (also) haven’t seen any Obama stickers or yard signs as well as any Romney stickers or signs either. I’ve seen a bunch of Ron Paul yard signs though. Most of them have been up since the first of the year. Weird. Bty, I got my signs from cafepress.com since our local GOP HQ still don’t have Romney stickers or signs. Another weird thing. Guess I’m gonna have to shell out $35 to cafepress.com in order to get a Romney yard sign. I think Missouri is being boycotted as far as local GOP HQs not having them in stock. Don’t know about other towns/cities in Mo though.

Now that is funny. I gave all my money and time to Perry, then Bachmann and then Newt. I personally liked Newt the best but for a time thought he had no chance. Was extremely depressed when Mitt took the prize but I’m gonna crawl on needles to vote this Marxist out.
We are surrounded by two Indian Reservations. Keying is just something they do.
Excuse me, but with all the advantages Obama has (money, Unions, MSM, etc.,) the correct question to ask is “why isn’t Obama ahead by 20 pts?”
The DNC kinda bit the hand that fed them when they rented a non-union center for their convention. Unions withheld donations after that.
Hey, I’m not the moron voting for Carter 2
“Why is the Race so close”?
Because it’s Ob vs. Hillary
................Ob vs. HillaryRomney
all over again.
