Last night on Hannity, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) clashed with Sean Hannity over whether the host predicted the Libyan violence when he had previously said their American-supported elections would result in a quasi-terrorist state.
“How is it that Sean Hannity and a few others of us out here predicted with pinpoint accuracy that the Muslim Brotherhood would be in charge in Egypt?” Hannity asked the senator. “Their first task when they took over the Parliament was to declare Israel, our closest ally, their enemy.”
“How is it that the administration with all their intelligence and the CIA — how is it that they didn’t see this coming?” he asked McCain of both Egypt and Libya, before disputing the notion that the Libyans had a free election: “They kept telling the American people, this is democracy. I don’t view the Muslim Brotherhood as democracy. They want Sharia law implemented now.”
“That’s not clear that that’s true,” McCain responded before accusing Fox of repeating a false claim about the Libyan elections:
It was you and people on Fox that said in Libya, “We didn’t know who they were and let’s not help these people.” They had an election and they elected moderates. They rejected Islamists. And yes, there are al-Qaeda factors and there are extremists in Libya today, but the Libyan people are friends of ours, and they support us, and they support democracy. So you were wrong about Libya.
“I don’t think I was wrong about Libya at all,” Hannity shot back.
“I know you were,” McCain responded. “They had a free and fair election, and a democratic non-Islamic government was elected. So you were wrong.”
“I was not,” Hannity said. “They didn’t think the Muslim Brotherhood would take over? This is a known terror organization. We say we are fighting

McCain is hanging in there so he can become part of a gang of three, or whatever it takes to stand in the way of Romney and a Republican Congress.

Don’t forget his Grandfather and Father were both senior admirals in the Navy. That is how McCain got in.
I’m still not convinced he’s a war hero rather than a war sub-zero.
It’s something I never expect to be sure about.
I’ve heard the usual stories, and then I’ve watched what John was as a child, as a young adult, as an adult, and as an older man.
Even his actions as a student at the Naval Academy, and in his Naval air training cause me grave concerns about the true nature of his military service.
You see, nearly every moment of this guy’s life is on the record. And every public moment of it has been the actions of a very despicable excuse for a man.
I find it hard to believe that the only moment in his life when he exhibited character, was when it was off the record in the Hanoi Hilton. Like I said, I’ll never know for sure.
What I do know, is that this guy is one of the slimiest mother fletchers on record.
He’s by far the worst Republican Senator in the history of our nation IMO. Frankly, he’s probably a lot worse than a majority of the Democrats too.

Exactly! ...I have never understood why this imbecile is often called a “hero”. Just serving in the military, police dept. or as a fireman does not automatically make a person a “hero”.
McCain crashed or severely damaged FIVE Navy jet fighters. He was shot down and held as a POW. What was heroic?
He most likely was only given his rank because both his father and grandfather were Navy Admirals. He is a wimp!
I’m really sick of Hannity and Greta having this jerk on their programs because he only expresses the RINO views that often support the “across the aisle” crowd.
Anyone else notice that Lindsay Graham has not appeared on Greta or any other FNC programs for a couple of months? Greta used to have him on a couple of times a week. Why is that liberal RINO lying low and keeping out of the media?

How come I knew and everybody else on FR knew that the Arab Stink would not create democracy and freedom in the Middle East, but the so-called best and brightest didn’t know it?
Democracy they can sometimes wrap their little minds around. But freedom is way beyond them. They are totalitarian-minded. They just want their totalitarian government, not that of the U.S. allied leaders.
This is so obvious I’m embarrassed to enter it here. Yet our politicians and media and administration either don’t get it or actually want sharia law.

As bad as Obama is, part of me is glad McLame lost.
McCain works for the same people that Hillary and Obama. He is own by the world elites.
Just saying.....Imagine if McCain would have won in 2008. He would no doubt be on the verge of defeat right now. No question. That means we’d probably be on the verge of a Hillary Clinton Presidency right now.
As horrific as 0bama has been, there have been some positives. His Presidency and the Democratic congress, helped spawn the birth of the Tea Party revolution in this country. It led to us purging the House of 63 Democrats and the Senate of 7 Democrats in 2010. In 2012 it has us Conservatives fired up to throw out 0bama.....If McCain had won we’d be the dispirited ones right now and Dems would be gearing up to vote for Hillary in big numbers.
McCain would have been a disasterous President and would have taken Sarah Palin down with him. Things would still be crappy and Hillary would be on her way in.
Yes indeed, it’s a good thing he lost four years ago.
