THE CAPITAL-JOURNAL
The Manhattan man who posed a formal challenge to President Barack Obama's place on the Kansas general election ballot Friday requested immediate withdrawal of the appeal due to an avalanche of criticism.
The Kansas Objections Board had taken the complaint filed by Joe Montgomery under advisement on Thursday, pending requests for official copies of Obama's birth records. The ballot issue was tied to Montgomery's assertion Obama wasn't a qualified candidate for president because of his citizenship status and that of his father.
"There has been a great deal of animosity and intimidation directed not only at me, but at people around me," Montgomery said in the formal withdrawal request to Secretary of State Kris Kobach. "I don't wish to burden anyone with more of this negative reaction."
Kobach, Attorney General Derek Schmidt and Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer had planned to convene the state board on Monday to consider new documentary evidence regarding Montgomery's claim that Obama should be dropped from ballots.
Kay Curtis, spokeswoman for the secretary of state, said there was a tentative plan to conduct the meeting Monday. The procedure remains unclear, but it may be necessary for the board to formally accept Montgomery's decision.
"This is kind of unprecedented," Curtis said.
As an example, if a US citizen makes money in another country, (as I recall, exempt up to about 70k but have to pay if they make more) they are still subject to be taxed by the United States regardless that the money was made in another county. They are still "The Subject of the Jurisdiction Thereof" of the United States.

LoL. My last post was talking the same. [grin] :-)
I read that Obama has lately referred to being raised by a “single mother”. Is this an attempt to remove Barack Sr. from the equation?
I love it when you talk tough!! Tell me, do you ever act tough?
Some how I missed this whole Mississippi story. Do you know what happened or is it ongoing?
Kansas Republicans: We need to see Obama’s birth certificate
Mississippi lawmakers went to court to compel Hawaii to produce a birth certificate. Separately, a citizen of Mississippi alleged in a lawsuit that the president’s Hawaii birth certificate was fake.
Had the same thought. Yes, Obama's lame attempt.
I don’t know much about the Mississippi challenge beyond seeing that Dr. Orly Taitz is involved...

Ok. Thanks.
The Mississippi Democratic Executive Committee specifically designed a verification request so that Onaka could verify what they asked REGARDLESS of whether there was a legally-valid record for Obama or not. They then submitted that verification in a case against Orly Taitz, being very careful to FURTHER clarify the very limited verification they asked for, saying that when they said “information” they only meant BIRTH FACTS (the other “information” that would be included on a BC being processing and legal validity information - which MDEC was careful to distance itself from so it could not be said they were claiming to a judge that the HI BC was legally valid, even though they had every chance of knowing that Onaka had already confirmed it is NOT legally valid.)
IOW, MDEC covered all the right places with fig leaves so it is abundantly clear that they knew Onaka had already verified that Obama’s HI BC is not legally valid.
That’s how Mississippi comes into the picture.
“..Yes he did. I wonder what the thugs threatened him with,
probably his family...”
It’s how they work. That or financially.
But for some keyboard commando to call him “chicken” is just ridiculous, you know?

I know.
