The Houston Chronicle has a story about a folding bike leading the news today: click here. Unbelievable.

The Austin American-Statesman has a story about investing in land, etc. around the new racetrack. None of the main news stories cover the crisis in the Middle East. click here.

This nation is finished. No one in leadership or media, both of which have a responsibility to the people, have any interest in the welfare of the people to inform them as to what is actually happening. Both have been subverted by evil forces which intend to enslave the people and are aiding and abetting that process.

Beside it is a picture of Vol fans and an article about ESPN Game Day's appearance in Knox Vegas.

Locals news always makes the front page here. Top story:

Since our paper subscribes to AP, it stands to reason any foibles on the part of their Dear Leader will be buried, if not unpublished.

Looks like your folding bike story has been eclipsed by news of a stabbing (3 victims) at a pre-wedding meeting.

The Atkinsonville Morning Wind, page one of one (but on both sides it being a Sunday Special):

“County Garbage Truck Drivers Now Able to Perform weddings Between Pick Ups”

I don’t think that means while standing with a truck on each side...but it might knowing the folks there.

Story two—

How apropos. Because anyone who thinks Owebama cares to fix the mid-east problem really IS living in Fantasyland!

Charlotte Observer print edition:

Embassies under siege as Arab violence spreads

The story was picked up from the New York Times.

The online edition promotes the #2 headline in the print edition to the lead story:

Corporate cash paid DNC's arena fee

The story is by Tim Funk of the Observer, and notes Obama's evidently broken pledge not to use corporate funds for the actual convention here in Charlotte.

The Observer leans left, and is often prone to headlines like "Banks hike fees; women and minorities suffer most." On this particular morning, however, I have no complaints about the lead headlines. Not to worry; I'm sure I'll find something to raise my blood pressure on their editorial page.

If you notice eight of the eighteen headlines are about the First Wookie and nothing about the Middle East.

The "Star" used to be somewhat right wing but now they are almost worthless.
