The Austin American-Statesman has a story about investing in land, etc. around the new racetrack. None of the main news stories cover the crisis in the Middle East. click here.
This nation is finished. No one in leadership or media, both of which have a responsibility to the people, have any interest in the welfare of the people to inform them as to what is actually happening. Both have been subverted by evil forces which intend to enslave the people and are aiding and abetting that process.

Don’t read the local but I checked their website and found all their national news was linked to CNN.
Beside it is a picture of Vol fans and an article about ESPN Game Day's appearance in Knox Vegas.
My local paper headline says “Shortage of hay causes ranchers to sell off cattle.”
Locals news always makes the front page here. Top story:

Since our paper subscribes to AP, it stands to reason any foibles on the part of their Dear Leader will be buried, if not unpublished.

I attempted to post a thread to discuss the third story listed above, however, FR does not permit Poughkeepsie Journal stories due to complaints from the paper.
FWIW, the title in the third story was shortened from the original when I was preparing to post that thread at FR . . .
Local Muslims condemn force, killings in Libya'Protesters broke our commandments,' Islamic Association members say
PJ's 'journalist' du jour, Nina Schutzman quoted two local Muslim men who claimed there are Islamic commandments which were broken . It appears Nina couldn't be bothered to ask for specifics about which commandments they were referring to, leaving her readers to accept such nonsense as fact. So much for journalistic integrity.
Here's the only comment posted online in response to that article, thus far:
"-*-Top CommenterThis is the kind of response from Muslims that we need to hear, that the Koran does not condone this and neither do they. As citizens residing here enjoying the freedoms and benefits the US offers (I assume they are citizens) thier loyalty is to the United States now, not the country of thier origin."
The Pok Journal's perpetuation of an intentionally ignorant narrative perpetuates-if-not-accelerates the alarming degree of danger this country and it's non-Muslim citizens are forced to endure here and abroad.

The online edition promotes the #2 headline in the print edition to the lead story:
Corporate cash paid DNC's arena fee
The story is by Tim Funk of the Observer, and notes Obama's evidently broken pledge not to use corporate funds for the actual convention here in Charlotte.
The Observer leans left, and is often prone to headlines like "Banks hike fees; women and minorities suffer most." On this particular morning, however, I have no complaints about the lead headlines. Not to worry; I'm sure I'll find something to raise my blood pressure on their editorial page.
