Funny you linked to Alice faye site.... I’ve been searching far and wide for a clean copy of this toe tapper..... Her husband Phill Harris sang this on radio classics and it’s a great tune.... One old copy of him on a 45rpm record was all I can find....
I’m rugged but right .... Many versions of I’m ragged but right yet I seek this one, I’m rugged but right by Phil Harris. Gonna wind up buying the old classic radio show episode they did on November 18, 1951 and making my own CD of the tune I guess. Wasn’t on any of his albums or singles on iTunes or amazon etc.... Gheesh ....:o).
Here as stated is the dirty copy from the old 45 rpm.... I like the honky tonk version Phill does.

Thanks for that historical observation! When I heard Obama say, “PROVIDENCE,” I knew it was relevant-—thus the caps.
