What are your thoughts on Gingrich talking about Akin on Meet the Press?
Better yet, what are your thoughts on what he stated about Biden, the Dems, abortion issue as a whole? The Libs on the program looked totally stunned!

I agree with Newt on Akin. He’s the voters of Missouri’s selected candidate. He apologized for his remarks - it’s up to the voters of Missouri now.
National figures can distance themselves as they may, but should refrain from telling folks at the state level what to do.

Did you see the same interview as me? I’m not a Newt fan (but I’m ok with him now that his Presidential ambitions are irrelevant), so I’m sure I’d have noticed if he did something...what did I miss?
That was not in the last ten minutes. Akin, abortion, Biden, Planned Parenthood, the Dem platform was the topic; and the topic of this post. If you want to detract from the post, go for it; but create your on post on the subject and then I'll give you an comment on Eastwood.
Never been one of Newt’s great fans, but I do appreciate it when he nails the left as he does now and then. Too bad he was unable to “get” the empty chair...apparently the candidate for the GOP was laughing backstage and the campaign has not dumped Clint under the bus.

Hey, that is just subjective opinion. I liked Clint Eastwood, but some didn’t - I’m not sure what people who hold this opinion expected from Clint - a major policy speech?
Hardly treason though. It’ll just get the press to keep talking about Clint.
Newt was probably just jealous of Clint’s greater impact on the convention than his own.
Newt was excellent. He hhad that NYT reporter and the faggy leg crosser Gregory reeling.
