Yep, those parents did a wonderful job relating the kindness of Mitt Romney.
It’s boring. But they are just regular people. Heck half the politicians have bored me and they are use to doing this!
Mitt still has a pair of her underwear from that first visit...
lol...sorry!
Well said. Everyday people who are loved.
I realize I misread your post and mine probably came along wrong. The Debbie Downers I was referring to were people on this thread.
Very sad, I’m so sorry for him and his family.
I agree, regular people need to be given a pass when speaking in front of a national audience for the first time. They are actually doing quite well. I think I would be peeing my pants.
This lady’s story is moving.
Yep...vacation slide show is a great description. But, what would Obammy’s family vacay slideshow look like?
I’m pretty impressed that regular people have the nerve to get up there in front of so many people. God bless them. Should be interesting to hear what the left says about all this.
Not yet. LOL!
was that meg whitman in the audience crying?
That was a terrific story, and the inexperience of the parents as speakers just made it more real.
But now we’re back to Mormon testimony. I’m voting for Romney in spite of his faith, and they need to quit pushing it down our throats.
Does he have any non-Mormon friends?
I’ve been sitting here thinking the same thing. I don’t want to diminish his caring and charity, but I think this is a little too much.
Yeah - I knew the mom. She was a teacher’s aide who worked extensively with my youngest.
Can’t imagine the pain of losing a child.
This is a good story. I like the humanization of Mitt. That’s what tonight is about...showing his soft side, which is not hard. This is sad, though.
Point taken. We live in NJ.
This is good really, they can’t even find anyone that knew Obama.
I could not do this. It takes a lot and these people were touched by their kindness.
