Some of you will want to read portions of Romney’s speech before he delivers it; some will not.
For those that do, the excerpts that have been released by the Romney campaign are below:

the problem was that there was no way he could actually deliver on everything. no way he could stop “globull warming” by the simple swipe of his hand and the increasing of taxes. Club Gitmo was never going to close because there was no place to put them. He never wanted to create a “purple” America because he hates it. If Obama actually believed everything he said (when he thought the cameras were on) we might have been better off because he doesn’t believe in America.
His term was like a four year vacation using someone else’s credit cards. An academic experiment that will be discussed in the faculty lounges for a generation.
It will be interesting to compare and contrast Romney’s speech with this one.

Yes, I have read those threads and saw the votes myself when they were taken at the convention. The national chair and Romney killed the conservative voices and Tea Party. If Romney wins, the mission is complete. The party will be Romney liberal and he will own it for years. I doubt the party will ever change back to have some conservatives in it once he is elected.
He will be able to choose every delegate who goes to the next convention. Hello, dictator.
There is no way to convey my disgust and dismay over the death of the Republican Party. The killer is Romney and his aide in chief is the national party chairman. They killed it right on the floor of the convention. I couldn’t believe the illegal decisons of the chairman as to those votes. Then, he illegally would not take a role call vote on either question. He knew those no votes won.
People matter no more in that party. Only Romney matters and he does whatever he pleases. Illegal is illegal - now wonder what is in his tax reports he won’t release. I thought that was nothing, but I don’t think that now that I have seen the real man.
I agree with all you said, except for you final word ‘dictator’.
Replace it with ‘Third Party’. We have millions of patriotic Americans who will ‘get-er done’.
You can’t win elections if you are not speaking convictions. To abandon conservatism just to win these independents....

Romney is the dictator head of that party now if he wins.
As for third party, conservatives don’t have a party now and neither does the Tea Party as Romney’s people kept the words, “Tea Party” out of every speech anyone made. They went over every speech before it was allowed to be given.
My true feeling is conservatives are in the minority and will never have a say anymore. I also think the country is doomed to fail and maybe the conservative preppers will be the ones to rebuild the country.

That’s all well and good. I did recently make a contribution to Romney campaign. Did you send any $$$ to Todd Akin or do you just complain about Romney? It is time to be positive about something. Our country is at stake.

No, he doesn’t get it. He’s a slimy weasel whose father was determined that some day Mitt would be president. In that respect, he is no different from JFK or Al Gore. Mitt has no guiding principles; only ambition. He will say or do anything that he believes will curry favor with the voters, and he makes me want to puke.
