security guard at the Family Research Council's headquarters in Washington, D.C. is being hailed as a hero after he stopped a gunman posing as an intern, taking a bullet in the arm before wrestling the suspect to the ground.
The gunman entered the lobby of the organization's Chinatown headquarters around 10:45 and expressed disagreement with the conservative group's policy positions, Fox News has learned. When the guard, who was not identified, asked him where he was going, he opened fire, according to police.

Has the perp been ID’d?
(I wonder what page this will be buried on re: the NY Times tomorrow?)
CNN FINALLY doing a shot from the shooting scene, 4 HOURS after it happened, two blocks way from it’s DC offices.
DC traffic must be a real pain, right?
Well, we've known all along that there's "worse to come" from the Leftists in this country...
But, hey, how much "worse" can it get for the pre-borns, who've been "taking the bullet" for the rest of us on the frontlines...being chopped up & dismembered by the Leftists...??
The answer is not violence-for-violence...but to yield our lives as we zealously -- and prayerfully -- oppose the forces of darkness...even when they storm us with gun-in-tow...
Brown shirts of the Left? Brown shirts to keep Obama in power -- as a "remnant" of 1930s Germany?
Well, I don't rule out at least the sheer desperation undertow that must be present among Obama & his power-mongers...look for the "lone nut" theory in this would-be massacre to come IMMEDIATELY from all venues of the MSM...before they even know one thing about him.
So, in that vein, we shouldn't also "speculate" overbroadly until we get more facts. We'll get WAY TOO MUCH early "speculation" from the MSM not wanting to face up to their own "hate rhetoric" = shootings formula...
And, we've certainly in the Chick-Fil-A times we're in have seen the "hate rhetoric" ramp up from the Left.
Evidently some publically educated doofus at CNN wrote just that in a memo: "two blocks way from its DC offices.", and it took them 4 hours to figure out that he actually meant "its offices" not "it is offices"! Fully excusable.
Yes, D.C. has a Chinatown. Once it was a mostly residential area of run-down row houses owned by people with Chinese heritage and where there were many Chinese restaurants. Now it is the path of gentrification and while it has a beautiful Chinese portal (the Friendship Arch, a gift from Beijing) across H Street NW and and a number of Chinese restaurants, I don’t think very many Chinese live in the area.
It has lots of new apartment buildings, lots of stores, not far from the Lansburgh Theatre (Shakespeare) and the Sidney Harmon Hall. Plus, there’s the massive Verizon Center, home to the Washington Capitals (ice hockey team). Also, the convention center is only two blocks north. The two main north-south streets (6th Street and 7th Street NW) are loaded with stores and restaurants, very few of them Chinese. Most of the Chinese restaurants are on H Street between 6th and 8th Streets NW.

Did you forget it, Jake? It's Chinatown!
Wow. I missed this during my visits to DC.
I guarantee you, the only left wing nuts that are willing to "die for their cause" are mental patients, and are willing to die for lots of other things too.
If people like them die for their cause, it was a mistake.
Instead, they’ll just bury the story.
Sure has changed. But you know, I wasn’t kidding about its size when I was a school kid.
Never been to DC?
I know! How did I miss that?
As long as the penalties for domestic terrorism exceed those for hate crimes, I'm cool with that. Since it was left on right, he'll probably get time served. /sarc
Thanks.
There's always a next time...
Not a bona fide Islamist then.
