Pelosi Statement on Congressman Paul Ryan August 11, 2012

San Francisco – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement this morning on Governor Romney’s selection of Congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate:

“There is no question that former Governor Romney now owns the Republican, Ryan budget that puts millionaires ahead of Medicare and the middle class. Congressman Paul Ryan led House Republicans in voting to end the Medicare guarantee, which increases costs on seniors and weakens America's great middle class in order to give tax breaks to millionaires, Big Oil and corporations that ship jobs overseas.

“As Democrats, we will always preserve Medicare, strengthen the middle class and work to reignite the American Dream by building ladders of opportunity for all those who work hard and play by the rules. The choice Americans are facing could not be more clear.”

You have to excuse her lack of writing ability since her college degree was earned on her back. Simply the dumbest person in a house full of morons.

Pray for America

Are you kidding me? Seriously? The arrogant millionaire thinks she can speak for the commoners?

This entire country is a disaster area. It’s now time to clean up and rebuild.

The choice Americans are facing could not be more clear.

Sheesh . . . the former Speaker with a firm grasp of the English language.

/sarc

Sheesh, if you're going to criticize someone for language, at least be correct. Pelosi, though otherwise a dingbat, is entirely correct in her grammar.

Behold how you erred:

The verb phrase that goes with "choice" is "could not be". The verb form "are facing" modifies "Americans." "Americans are facing" modifies the subject of the sentence "choice." So:
The choice could not be more clear.
What kind of choice?
The "Americans are facing" kind of choice.
If she had used "that" between "choice" and "Americans" you probably would have seen instantly that the subject of the sentence was "The choice that Americans are facing" and that the predicate was "could not be more clear" and you wouldn't have been misled by thinking the plural 3rd person "are" had anything to do with the singular 3rd person "choice."

No one pays attention to what Pelosi as to say, except for the left wing nuts.

She’s likely to be history too, after the November elections. My guess is that she will retire and return to the San Fran are cesspool.

I think Ryan can stand up to the predictable attacks. I can't wait until he debates ol' Joe Biden. Poor old Joe. Right now he's gotta be crapping his pants at that prospect.

The best part is that by attacking Ryan the Dems show themselves easily distracted from the real show.

A good positive message on plans to turn the economy around will trump flop sweat any day, the Dems are showing their desperation.

Too bad we can’t have an ad with an obama lookalike dressed in a white coat and holding a tray of pills for grandma as she lays in a hospital bed.

But surely they can produce one using obama’s own words and the cold, nonchalant manner in which he said it.

nanceee, nanceee, nanceee.... just accept the inevitable that RR will be the “America’s Come Back Team.” You are so sour Nancy. Why not find a chair and sit down...maybe your imaginary friends will come sit with you...oh wait...you said they haven’t been back since. :) I wonder who in the heck you ever thought would believe such drivel.
Don’t be jealous now... don’t be bitter...don’t be envious of the R&R connection. You had your turn and you guhs had control but did NOTHING.
This is the NEW, THE YOUTHFUL, FRESH, SMART, FUN, CARING, INTELLIGENT team that will stand tall on Election Day to REPEAL OBAMA CARE and proudly take their place in American History as the President and Vice President who said: “No More!” We The People ARE taking our country back along with this new team. It’s a GOOD thing!!!!

This pick must scare them, to illicit this kind of reaction immediately like this.

Oh yes, this is their worst nightmare.

He's logical, articulate, number-savvy, confident and likeable. Juxtapose Ryan with Obama, who comes off as a mean, snarky, over-exposed, jive-spewing economic bumbler.

Ryan will attract women, Catholics, and family-oriented voters. His young and attractive family, side by side with Romney's close family and grandchildren, present a Camelot-like picture. This provides a great visual for Americans who are worried about their childrens' futures, in light of the economic destruction Obama has wrought, and will persuade them that Romney and Ryan have every reason to share their concerns. This will hobble the left's efforts to portray Romney as an out-of-touch elitist.

When Bush picked Cheney, he left the Republicans without a future candidate. Romney's choice gives the Republicans ongoing leadership. Romney misspoke when introducing Ryan as the next president of the United States, but as a gaffe, it may well prove advantageous.

Mentally deranged.
I seriously feel that Nancy Pelosi is a very screwed up human being and it confuses me how she got to where she is.($$$)
She is the poster child for liberalism and gives credibility to the statements of liberalism being a mental illness.

What rules have YOU played by, Mizz Pelosi, in accumulating your nest egg, said to be something like $197 million?
