One of Mitt Romney's Chicago fundraisers took on a "true confessions" feel, and the can.
Romney related this his father George Romney, the former Michigan Governor, carried with him a little pink card, and it said: this entitles George W. Romney to a lifetime of a hamburger, a shake and French fries at McDonalds.
From the pool report:
The Republican presidential candidate said the card was signed by Ray Kroc. My dad had done a little training lesson
for McDonalds when there was just a handful of restaurants. Mitt Romney had the card laminated for his father. My dad, as you know, would go almost every day to a McDonalds restaurant and get either a hamburger or a fish filet sandwich. And he would present this little card and of course the person behind the counter would look and say, well, what is that? Theyd never seen something like that, but he said it was never turned down They always honored it.

Mickey D’s..another business that the Obama Government made happen with its roads and bridges. WTG BO!
Another trick, tell them you didn't want mustard on your burger and they'll give you another at no charge. Add the comment that "you're alergic" to mustard and you may get a free coupon along with your free burger.
Sadly, it's not difficult at all to eat for free at McDonalds.
And his dad lived to 88. According to Michelle Obama and Mike Bloomberg, he should have been dead by 50 from eating all that salt and transfat.
Romney also provided the horse meat to McDonald’s at higher prices.
That was determined to be a bribe by the federal and state investigators looking into his corrupt practices.
Governor Marvin Mandel used to get small dollar value checks written out to him from various people with state government contracts. Same thing.
So, how common is this practice?
Well that does it for me! I just can’t vote for Romney after this latest scandal! (Is this all the whack left has left?)
So Romney Sr. survived a lifetime of eating lunch at Mickey D’s?
Now that is proof positive of a superior gene pool!
Let’s get Mitt elected. ‘Sides, Bammy is obviously a deeply flawed genotype.
And Obama screws taxpayers everyday...so what?
...”Just go in the trash, find an empty bag,”
Sounds like a page out of the old “Steal This Book” by Abbie Hoffman.
Bill Clinton wants to know where he can get a card just like it.
“hamburger, a shake and French fries”
So, he had to pay for the Filet-o-Fish.
I thought Billy Jeff was a vegetarian?
I can’t tell from the article who the source for this story is, an anonymous “Romney fundraiser”, or Mitt Romney? The story sounds odd given Mormon dietary restrictions and that Mitt’s father was the chairman of American Motors and by going to McDonalds would have bypassed the executive dining room.
Ray Kroc didn’t create that business.
“I thought Billy Jeff was a vegetarian?”
How come he always smells like he has fish on his breath?
the emdia are ven worse than in 2008 wen they lied to get their messiah elected.
Honestly this is pathetic, the Dems are on about wanting anal sex partners to marry, keep spending, fund paned parenthood, reduce the miltitary to a very weak military, use the DOJ to sue anyone who opposes their agenda, hire women or minorites in Govt instead of those who actually qualify , Govt health care, fast and furious, green energy scam to those who did their bundling for obama etc etc etc.
The list is too long so I won’t go on but the media and this white house wil talk about Romney’s dog, his wife’s horse, tell lies about a woman dying if it were Romney who killed her, etc etc etc.
The media need to be prtested at their HQ’s and the GOP needs to name names in the media who are showing such utter bias.
It's very common to get small perks from businesses that you do work for.
Did you even read the article?
For their entire lives the Obama’s have ate free every day on the taxpayer’s dime.
Putting his liberal, Rockefeller Republican politics aside, I always admired George Romney personally. He was self-made in business and politics and seemed down-to-earth. The fact that he ate at McDonalds a lot is more evidence that he wasn’t some country club snob.
