Can a person or corporation sue another citizen/corporation for calling on others to discriminate against them for exercising their first amendment rights?
“We urge mall owners who rent space to Chick-fil-A to look deeply at the hateful organizations the company supports.
We ask university officials to reconsider accommodating a business that ostracizes a large segment of their student body.
We want corporate leaders who allow Chick-fil-A to do business in their offices to consider a new restaurant option during contract renegotiations.
We’d like all Americans to think twice before they bite into their next Chick-fil-A sandwich.”———————
Please, please, please keep going in this stupid direction - this is what I have been praying you’d do for years now; finally do yourself in with your own obnoxious hubris.
Homofascism.
My question is what kind of ego-maniacal, childish group tries to kill a business because they don’t agree with them when there are 40 Million people out of work or under-employed in a stagnant economy?
Sorry kids (and adults), I know you’ll lose your jobs, but it’s more important to me that your owners not be allowed to disagree with me.
I know everyone thinks this has helped the organization, but I think it will be a serious longterm problem.
I say let’s split the country in two. Faggots, librats and parasites on one end, and normal people on the other. They can have their pick of which end they want.
Dear Real Teen, I don’t think you get the concept of the anti-Christian secular left and its socialist and communist (aka progressive) leaders: To disagree with us is to oppose us, to think for yourself and express ideas that are NOT our ideas then you are either a hatefilled person or a hate group who is also bigoted. For the left, the true concept of freedom and individual thought is abhorrent and must be wiped out.
The best antidote is, once unmasked, to deluge the delusional idiot and keep the light of public scrutiny on him/she/it.
We are in the middle of a horrible social war on America, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to win. We have 1-1/2% of our population trying to force their sodomy views on the other 98-1/2% . . . we have a homosexual resident in our White House . . . we have extreme homosexual sympathy for Paterno and Sandusky’s participation in perversion, we have a military that prides itself on homosexual pride parades, all female crews and no more urinals in naval ships.
We’re killing 3,300 unborn and newly born babies every day in this country, and our attention has to be diverted to these sodomy activists who are hell bent on sending everybody else to hell.
Lord, help us!
How ‘bout we all just line up and put a boot in this little homofascist’s @$$? America doesn’t need the “In your face” hate that this maggot is peddling.
"...Equality Illinois is urging business and institutional leaders to only agree with us or else..."
Fixed.
And what 'discriminatory practices' might that be?
These people are kooky.
Just voted “strongly disagree” at the bottom of the article, and that choice is running at 79% with well one 4000 votes tallied. Not that it’ll make a huge difference, but Mr. Brown should know where he stands with the public.
Ummm, sorry Charlie. They do not pracitce discriminate in anyway shape or form. They sell to gays, they hire gays. It is not discrimination, nor a practice of discrimination, to state you support traditionally defined marriage as that being between 1 man & 1 woman. It's called the 1st Amendment. Get used to it, just like we have to tolerate your right to show support for gay/lesbian marriage.
And where are the apologies for homosexuals’ spread of HIV/AIDS?
What’s the bigger “hate”: opposing homosexual “marriage” thru free speech, religion, association.
Or gay “bathhouses” clubs which are cesspools of HIV? Where’s the apologies for all the wives, women, children, babies, sex trafficking victims et al who’ve been infected with a deadly disease?
Or the insurance costs or medical resources that have to been diverted to treat a behavioral disease?
Where’s the apologies and the promises to stop the killer behavior?
Answer those questions
Homosexuals have worked long and hard to achieve equality. This flap over the chicken place lets us know what they do with that equality.
CEO, Dan Cathy is guilty of having the courage to express his values. Those without values or courage hate him for it. They are acting like spoiled children demanding others change their values and accept their life style.
What “practices”? If they are discriminating in either hiring or serving anyone, that’s legally actionable. But they aren’t. The CEO just spoke his mind. This is insane.
