Woman laughs, accidentally swallows knife
Los Angeles Times ^ | August 3, 2012 | Rosie Mestel

"Unexpected Swallowing of a Knife" -- that's a grabbier title than most ones you see in medical journals.

The short item, a clinical image in this week's New England Journal of Medicine, explains that a 30-year-old woman with a history of bulimia had been bragging to friends that she no longer had a gag reflex. She put the knife into her mouth and then laughed -- at which point she swallowed the knife.

I figure just by walking past a few of them outside will give them plenty to talk about! LOL!

I just made a pasta salad. It was going to be a macaroni salad but I don’t have any. :o|

Four more loads of clothes down this morning, and three to go including winter bedding. Then I did the dishes, and worked up a sweat in this humidity.

Oh. I forgot: Men sweat. Women glow. *snicker*

Yep. And I’ll pay for it the rest of the week, too. But that’s the way it goes with CFIDS.

Still, I feel better having a lot of it out of the way.

Friday or Saturday, my friend will take me to look at cars. I can then get an idea of what is available for what I can afford. I’m getting excited!

I got Kathleen to take a nap. Now I have to go to Walmart for macaroni and cheese for the byos. Tom is making brownies again.

I was hoping to get the last of the laundry done tomorrow, but I’m so tired right now, I have no clue if I will make it for another hour. I don’t want to lie down yet, because I know if I do, I will fall asleep, then will wake up in the middle of the night again and won’t be able to go back to sleep. And if that happens, the laundry will be put off by another day. *groan*

You should have said something about the macaroni; I have two boxes of shells and cheese that need to be eaten. I could have saved you a trip to Walmart...;o]

The people at the town post office used to refer to us as the “travelingest” people she ever knew. Now I’m the glisteningest. (Ya gotta define yourself somehow lol!)
Poor spellchecker is going bonkers.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, y’all

Mr. Sg told me about an article involving antibacterial products and muscle fatigue as well as some cardiovascular implications. I thought, “Oh, yay! I can tell Face about this and she’ll feel better!” Unfortunately, we don’t use any of the products that were cited.
P.S. Save me some pasta salad.

....because I know if I do, I will fall asleep, then will wake up in the middle of the night again and won’t be able to go back to sleep.

That sounds like the perfect time to do a load of laundry.

I can't do that because it would wake everyone up.

Hint to children everywhere:

NEVER tell you mother she’s glowing like a pig...

NEVER tell you mother she’s glowing like a pig...

Any child who would do that probably has a death wish and is beyond redemption anyway.

My family is deaf to the washer, but I can't run the vacuum or the mop machine without walking people up.

That reminds me, Sg, and Face,

I saw an article in the daily mail about how the foods a person eats affects the way their body works.

Meanwhile, I need sleep. See you soon.

"How cool is that?"

Very cool.

When I read that there were recipes available, my first though was "gasoline soup with a side of tossed matchstick salad." ;)
