It is just after 11:30 on Friday night and Adam Smith has sent an email with a link to his official video response to the all of the events that followed his protest of Wednesday‘s ’Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.’ The clip, nearly eight minutes in length, opens with an apology to Rachel, the woman who was working the window at the drive-thru.

He can call himself a Christian that turned Atheist. But I don't believe it...
I think he may have been a nonpracticing Christian, or perhaps Agnostic. I just don't see how a Christian that believes there is a God and that Jesus is the son of God would totally lose their faith and go Atheist.
By saying he was once a Christian he thinks it gives his Atheism more credibility. Like he once was a blind follower of God, now he has become enlightened through research, facts, and the power of his own thought process.
I'll bet he hasn't learned anything, except that he's now a poor whining victim. He'll probably write a book.

I agree that he’s had a valuable lesson presented - whether or not he learns anything is yet to be determined.
I was RAISED a Christian and therefore considered myself one for years. But God was simply my waiter, Santa Claus, good-luck charm, etc... It didn’t work for me.
Once my life hit bottom, I became a Christian for REAL. My LIFE belong to Him, no longer me.
I think Adam and his wife lived their first 25-30 yrs as the first type I’ve described here.

Roger Vogel, chairman, president and CEO of Vante, said the decision for Smith to step down was mutual. Vogel said he was “shocked” by the video, which he first discovered when people emailed him a link.
“We obviously found it very disturbing,” Vogel said. “We respect everybody’s ability to share their opinions in the public square and we have a very diverse workforce with a diverse set of opinions. We expect employees to behave in a professional manner that’s commensurate with their positions, and discuss their opinions in a civil fashion. … We thought what he did was inappropriate.”
Vogel said the company has no stance on the gay-marriage issue but has always had a “good relationship” with Chick-fil-A. He said the company will consider contacting the employee that Smith ambushed in an attempt to mend fences.
It is not Vogel’s responsibility to mend fences. It was not an act of his company. (wonder if he is worried about being sued)...but it is a nice thought of him to reach out.
I bet she was scared to death to meet with him. It would almost be like stalking her. Why didn't he just mail an apology to the Chick-fil-A restaurant where she worked.
Good! Rachael should be given his old job and he should be given hers! They are each suited for it.

The gay movement is based on slogans. Not the reality of what is behind it - i.e. a mental disorder which “tolerates” two guys (or three or four...) having anal sex with each other, or one another.
