The owner of Chik-fil-A is obeying God by standing by Scripture and refusing to back down or compromise on the Word of God. Of course Satan is going to target him and try to shut him down and destroy him.
Who knows how many people have come to Christ because of this man's courage? The god of this age isn't just going to sit idly by and allow that to happen.

The left can "try" to squash Christianity but it will never happen. It hasn't been able to happen for two thousand years! The culture is won by Christianity because Free Will is one of the most inviolable tenants of the religion. You can't logically or emotionally argue against this fact.

I’m serious as I can be. In fact, EVERYONE should just to better understand what it is that has taken over this country. The sex is what it’s about. Take away the sex and what remains? Two REALLY good friends. At best.
So as long as people refuse to really think and UNDERSTAND what ‘homosexuality’ is all about, there’s little hope to put it back in the closet. As long as the homos can keep people from thinking about the sex and keep them fixated on funny ‘TV gays’, they will win eventually.
This is the danger of so-called "fiscal conservatism" that thinks we can disengage on issues of morality. That road leads to the guillotine.

The Left’s culture is based upon moral relativism. It is a very seductive morality because it functions as a self centered pursuit of pleasure. Moral relativism is a set-up for Marxism. By making ones moral thinking no more important than the other you set the stage for political, economic, legal and material egalitarianism. Egalitarianism is a system which renders human beings as equal. To reach such a Utopian society, one utilizes the state to redistribute all aspects of human life until all are equal.
Just a side light: The goal of gay marriage is the egalitarian treatment of human relationships. When the gay relationship is equal to the heterosexual relationship, the egalitarian objective is accomplished.
The opposition by the gay community and their abortionist cohorts to the Christian Church is an effort to transform society by either eliminating or retooling the Church. When you put everything they are doing into one description, they are minimizing the importance of life that is produced by the relationship between a man and a woman. Once life is redefined by the egalitarian paradigm, life does not have any more protection or significance than that which is determined by the state.
Life produced by a man and a woman no longer has that level of significance that our culture has given it through the ages. This is a part of the Marxist strategy. Human life must no longer have that transcendent importance that sets it above the state. Human life is now the property of the state to define as it wants and to use as it sees fit.
As the love relationship of heterosexual marriage and the beginning of human life are being attacked by the Marxist’s effort to transform our society, one can only wonder what’s next?

Once comedians got major laughs by attacking Catholics, why wouldn't they broaden their routine to include all Christians and why wouldn't everyone with an anti-Christ agenda see the laughing crowds as a signal to start their own anti-Christ attacks? Once it's socially acceptable to attack the twenty percent of the Christian population who are Catholic, it's socially acceptable to attack all Christians who don't buy into the "go along to get along" meme. The next time someone starts in on Christians in general, mentally substitute “Catholic” for "Christian" in what they're saying and ask yourself if you'd object to what's being said if it were only about Catholics. Likewise, the next time you hear jokes and slanders about Catholics, mentally substitute "Christian" for "Catholic" and you'll be hearing what the person talking is really saying.
Half the people who claim to be Christian have ignored deliberate lies and twisted tales about Catholics for so long that they're already immune to a great deal of the anti-Christian garbage at large in society. For example, I know a good number of people who go to church every Sunday and represent themselves as solid Christians. They have no problem renting and laughing at Dogma, though, or laughing at a comedian who builds half his routine around jokes about the Catholic Church. Whether you're Catholic or not, it's time people realized that those aren't "only" attacks on the Catholic Church; they're methodical attacks on Christianity and Christ.
If the fascist crowd can intimidate the majority of Christians into not standing for their faith intimidating them into not defying the fascist agenda is easy. Things of this nature are ground exceedingly fine, so it can't be much longer before all the popular anti-Catholic lies so many who claim to be Christian go along with get turned on Christians in general, one denomination or group at a time. You reap what you sow and it's harvest time for the folks who have long ignored lies about Catholicism, or gone along with portraying someone doesn't abide by Church teaching as a typical Catholic.
As a nation we've ignored decade after decade of carefully crafted attacks aimed at dividing the population into mutually antagonistic groups. Now that we're divided up a hundred different ways, either we'll unite or they'll conquer. The most logical place to start unifying is around Christ our King.
