Should someone be fired from their job and threatened with violence, torture, even death because they have an opinion different than yours? Of course not. And yet, that is what Adam M. Smith of Arizona says happened to him.
Adam Smiths life has been turned upside-down in the 36 hours that followed his posting the video of his protest at Chick-fil-A, which involved letting a young, female employee at the drive-thru know what he thinks about the company.

He can post all the opinion pieces he wants on YouTube and no one would care, but when he went out of his way to verbally berate and threaten an innocent person at her place of business, he crossed a line. Bad behavior has consequences.
I'm 5'-11" with no tatoos.
I'm also 280# of construction worker, with a 52" chest.
Will I do???

Good thing you aren’t prone to spelling errors. ;)
Ya think he can hold on long enough for a Marxist eminent domain government seizure so he and the city can cheat the lender out of about four hundred grand and split a hundred grand between themselves?

Yeah I’ve watched the video many times now and you can certainly see Rachel’s breathing speed up as the venom is being spit at her. That was the last thing she needed on the busiest day she’s ever had! Looks like the other good natured girl seen at the end of the video was there to help her laugh it off though.
Adam Smith, seems like you have a case of being a little bitch. I suggest a heavy dose of MAN THE F*** UP!
With this new information about the Smith family atheism, I am thinking Adam Smith may be expressing his anger at Chick-fil-A being a Christian business.
The devil can lead people astray.
Didn’t read it. I’m sure it’s easily summarized as “I’m a victim boo hoo.”
Only a government-funded entity would be foolish enough to hire a finance guy with his record.
Maybe he can get hired by Amtrak. They've launched a gay ad campaign to exploit that enormous potential market (1% - 3% of the population).
He did deserve to be fired. He supposedly held a corporate C-Level position and should have acted as such. His public behavior reflected poorly on the company.
Adam Smith is a chickensh!t coward. And I’ll say it to his face if he likes.
He’s a coward for abusing that kid, and he’s a coward for trying to play the victim now. Mister, you did it, now grow a pair and take responsibility for what you did.
Actually her biggest struggle was probably not laughing. When I worked in fastfood I’d get the occasional drive thru customer (don’t know why they’re always drive thru, never in the store) who felt the need to tell me all about various things McDonald’s was doing wrong, politically, socially, environmentally, or just in business. Every time I’m tuning them out and thinking “dude, I’m a crew person, not even a manager, the business model assumes I’m not even going to be here in 4 months, yeah I’m gonna change everything”, just waiting for them to shut up so I can close the window and move to the next customer. We called them lecturers, you get used to it, there’s not many people in the world fastfood workers get to look down on.
I would suggest this. Chick-Fil-A should walk up and quietly offer this guy a regular job (not CFO position)...maybe with some budget authority,etc...and simply say that we forgive your tirade and show Christian compassion over the event. I think that would generally shock everyone, and this event within forty-eight hours would totally fall off the screen because the media would not want to show such a side of a truly Christian business. The good book suggests that you bend over backwards and forgive as much as possible....so maybe this guys deserves a moment where he sees exactly that compassion.
He is a coward for "facing off" with a young drive-thru window employee.
As a CFO, he should have had the gonads to deal with his issues at a more adult level.
he's a coward and is paying for his cowardice.
(as my kids would say, "sucks to suck")
What happens at the drive-thru should stay at the drive-thru
