1) Somebody has to be president. I truly hope it won’t be Obama again.
2) As I alluded in my initial response, the best thing Romney can do is stop Obama. I believe the spigot of investment will open again once Obama is dethroned and the economy will recover on its own without a lot of help from Romney as long as there is a Republican congress.
3) Romney may not do what he promises but as long as he isn’t gumming up the works or continuing Obama’s policies, American business will heal itself and anything a Republican congress does to help is just gravy.
Hate Romney all you want. Be suspicious of him and, yes, hold his feet to the fire but Business will respond to him and that alone is worth voting him in. America needs to get back to work. Ending the Obama nightmare will be a big part.
Exactly. All Romney ever promises is that 'he won't do what Obama did' because he doesn't have any plans to restore full employment. He is not running on creating jobs for he knows that will require insourcing.
Romney just wants to create the illusion that change will make a difference and we have seen how that works.
“The American people need an education on economics.”
They’ve been getting an up-close schooling in economics for years now, and it has them terrified. One thing that hurts Obama badly is that the impact of his socialist spending spree VERY quickly dropped the value of the US dollar; people didn’t have to wait very long to watch their dollars buy less at the supermarkets, gas stations, etc.
What Europe learned about socialism over several decades we learned in less than three years; while people complain about mortgaging their “grandchildren’s futures”, the fact is that many Americans can’t afford children (never mind grandchildren). Some people complaining about the long-term impact of this spending are actually complaining about the present impact - now - on them.
That's all you need to do Mitt.
(What a dreamer, eh?)
Ummm, we are.
