Today is “National Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.”
After intolerant and First Amendment-hating Chicago politicians blocked Chick-fil-A from building a restaurant, former Governor Mike Huckabee announced his support for the restaurant chain and its Constitutional right of free speech. He declared today Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.
Allen sent this picture from west county St. Louis.
Allen added: People are standing in line 100+ deep to go inside. The lines go out and around the building. Two lines of drive through cars are around the shopping center.
St. Louisans also came out in huge numbers to show their support for the First Amendment.
The lot was jam-packed…

The line goes around the block.
The line of cars wraps all the way around to the main boulevard, where the line still continues.
The surrounding streets and parking lots are packed.
The restaurant is full and the line goes out the door.
Normally, with this crowd volume you would expect short tempers and bedlam. That’s not the case today at Chick-fil-A. While the surrounding restaurant chains are empty, the people in this line are happily making a statement, talking to each other with smiles on their faces. They’re patriots taking a stand against a gross violation of our First Amendment right. And they are doing it in 100 degree temperatures.
Any bets if this will make the MSM tonight?

Notice the sign of 315 cars served at that time. Now in center line. Its a great day for Freedom of speech. Take that Boston, Chicago and San Francisco!
You know, part of me is hoping that the media does NOT cover this,,because those of us who are watching now know we are not alone,,,,,and that matters more than anything. I would be just fine with the fact we are being ignored. There is a lot of support out there for us,,,so,,,be strong my friends and take heart.
AND today we saw that more than just Freepers have the same values.

Drove by the CFA nearest us at 3:00 CST, and it still had cars lined up around the building and I could see people standing in line.
Plan to go there for dinner tonight.
Maybe conservatives should flood the restaurants on the kiss-in day. The gays certainly won’t be there to buy anything, maybe they’ll just leave and go home.
I bet that is about as likely as some 'yutes' robbing a GUN STORE. My guess is that unless they are getting paid to do so, they will skip it. There might be a few isolated incidents. After all, a total 'no show' would be embarrassing.
I just left a message. Their phone lines are crazy at the moment. I called them once before and begged them to open up in our little conservative town of Huntington, NY.
Left the same message....although this time I told them of so many shops closing and available for them to open up here.
Left my number and work number. Hopefully they will contact me and I can direct them to the “crapholes” that have folded in the past few years.
We need a ChikFilA here in our little Conservative town. The only one in NY is in NYC, ewwwww. I hate that place since Rudy left.

They have great chicken noodle soup, as well as delicious shakes and ice cream. My favorite is their peach shake!
You can bet your sweet butt we’ll turn out at least double on election day!

Shoot, I like(d) Wendys. I'm running out of places to eat.
My husband tried to go at lunch, but ran out of time (too long a line). My parents are going in a bit and will stand in line for us (we can’t leave work and it is a bit far). We have three stores in Tucson and at least the one I know about has had lines out the door all day.
I hope he knows that that comment was probably the very last straw for a lot of conservatives who still watch Fox. They'll be tuning out now, and won't be back, after that insult.
Maybe Fox will start picking up liberal viewers now, and go the way of MSLSD.
