Today is Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, an event semi-organized by Mike Huckabee in response to the Gay Mafia's attempt to browbeat a private citizen into silence, all because he stood up for something he believed in. Mumbles Menino and Rahmbo can kiss moral America's collective butt if the response in other Chick-fil-A restaurants is even remotely similar to what I saw just a few minutes ago at our local one. The place is being overwhelmed!! I told the manager why we were here and, after thanking us, he said that there was no way he could have prepared for such a massive influx of customers. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they ran out of food today.
Thanks for the info! Was looking for reports from the Indy area.
Can’t make the drive because of a meeting with the accountant (blech) but just ordered t-shirts online.
I'm in for the long haul. Always CFA, whenever possible, here on out. I printed out a list of all locations I would conceivably need until I upgrade to an iPhone and can look 'em up on the road.
In ultra-liberal Monkey Canny? Amazing!
Nice one and only post, troll. Bet you think you’re clever.
That's Truett Cathy, the founder. His son, Dan Cathy, is the one who is presently in charge and who said what he said that ending up causing this amazing show of support.
Report from Plano, Txas—Collin Creek Mall store: I hadn’t been there before but found the nearest location on the net.
I waited until 2 PM to be out of the lunch rush.
A police cruiser was in the street directing traffic. The line of cars at the drive through was two cars wide and all the way around the store. At least 20+ cars.
It’s 109 degrees here so no one was in line outside, but I could see through the windows that every space available was filled with standing customers.
I was with my 92 y.o. mother and didn’t think we could fight those crowds so we didn’t stay. But I will return to show support.
All these crowds of concerned citizens demonstrate that the silent majority will ACT in support of our America if they are just given direction and leadership
That’s right. The restaurant was packed and they were running out of menu items.
CFA on Friday should tell their workers that only the drive through is open due to wanting them to have a day off due to their hard work today, call it workers appreciation day
I plan to “act” by never patronizing one of these other fast food joints again. No Mcdonalds — EVER, if I can help it. I also plan to research the leadership of MANY of these corporations and retail outfits to see whose running them.
It’s chick fil a for us from now on. It’s my small part to speak up to these elitist bullies and homosexuals who think they can trample on us and our First Amendment rights.
Do you hear that Mcdonalds? I hope EVERY other retail establishment hears it as well. Tired of JCPenney, of Macy’s ..of ALL these jerks pushing this agenda on us.
Time to VOTE with the pocketbook, which may just be the most powerful weapon any of us can wield.
Goooood one!
Goooood one!
I'm astonished! Asheville has a very high percentage of artists and gays. But with a few exceptional locations, they are hugely outnumbered almost everywhere in the U.S.; and it's time they realized it.
exactly the same where we were.
Busy and so yet so polite, got wished “have a blessed day” off every worker we came across, they worked their asses off and hopefully CFA does give them a day off , paid one at that and only leave the drive through open.
It kills two birds with one stone so to speak.
One woman said this should be on the news and a guy shouted out that it would never happen the media will do their best to hide this and yet have their cameras in Chicago and other cities where the homosexuals dwell on mass on Friday.
When the guy shouted that all of the place shouted you got that right or you know they will etc.
This is an especially delicious idea because the DNC wants to make gay marriage a plank of their platform for 2012! American citizens are not allowed to openly display our voting position at the polling place -- no lapel pins, stickers, t-shirts, etc with our candidates' names -- but who can make a case that a Chick-Fil-A t-shirt violates those rules?
I did my part to thank them today. Original chicken sandwich and TWO peach milkshakes - one for me and one for Mom! The store in Matthews, NC (near Charlotte) was PACKED inside and out. I’d like to see an Appreciate Chick-Fil-A Day EVERY Wednesday ‘til election day.
It would be better to sing "Amazing Grace", since most of the other patriots who will be there know the lyrics.
Well, okay; you could sing "America the Beautiful" and put a little emphasis on "above the fruited plain"; but don't be mean.
Hi, FRiend. If it's any comfort, the above photo was taken in Chicago this noon. And also,
