IMHO, since this is a very important day of activism to show support for Chick-Fil-A and traditional marriage, I thought this thread could be used for FReeper reports and pics from their visits to Chick-Fil-A's around the country since there probably won't be much "positive" coverage from the LSM.
FReepers could post their experiences and pics and maybe even "counter protest" pics. Folks should maybe remember to bring a camera (cell phone) to take pics with just in case something confrontational happens.
Go FR and Chick-Fil-A!!
There is a chick fil a in the parking lot of the hospital where I work. At 6:45 which is well past dinner time in Denver, the drive thru lane had a line at least a mile long. The streets were lined with cars for blocks with people walking to the restaurant. Unbelievable! This has restored some of my hope for our country. I hope we as a country have found our voice and continue to exercise it
Avoid that one in Nashua...that's the 'black sheep'...the queer Chick-fil-A.
Thank you for the link!!
Thanks for posting!! (I had the same feeling!!)
LOL That works!
Good job! Hard to tell how cute Kathleen is by the back of her head, but I bet she’s adorable. Especially dressed like a cow. :-)
Wow!! That is really great to hear!!
(If today’s Chick-Fil-A event is any indication of what Nov 6th is going to be like, Barry must be having quite the “conference call” at the WH about now.)

Oh, my wife was sent this link:

I thought it was pretty good!!
As I was waiting in line more than one person who had earlier waited in the line came back to see how it was going after their meal. They said it took them about 1.5 hours to get to the front of the line. The wife of one couple that came back counted approximately 550 people in front of me. The mall closed at 9:30, but CFA said they would try to serve everyone in line. Shortly after I made it to the end of the line, the mall security stopped others from getting in line.
Some of us near the end of the line wondered if there would be any food by the time we got to the cashiers. The security guy at the end of the line said that CFA received a large delivery yesterday. It sounds to me like they were prepared for today. As the others had said, it took about an hour and a half to traverse the line and place my order. The last person in line had placed and received their order around 10:30 p.m. After which a round of applause erupted. I, as well as others in line behind me, had never been to a CFA. Some came from all over NY state. Earlier in the day Fox News had been there.
FWIW, I ordered the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, a small order of fries, a peach milkshake and a large unsweetened iced tea (for later). I concur with many positive reviews about the food. For fast food it was very good. I tend to avoid fast food these days, but I will make a point of visiting the other CFA stores in NJ. Mmmm, can't wait.
I’m impressed with your perseverance!
I thought the basic chicken sandwich was very good, especially after I brought it home, took the pickles off, and added mustard, onion, and cheese. I don’t fry at home, so a fried-anything is a nice change.
Thanks so much for posting your CFA visit!! It looks like CFA might have another “new” customer!!
Oh, yeah. I likely would have never given them my patronage if it wasn’t for this dust up. I was impressed that they were willing to serve everyone in line even though it was past closing time. +1 Long live free enterprise and may the best competitor win! I’m sure I am not the only new customer that they have obtained from all of this publicity.
Oh my! The person filming didn’t even get to the end of the line!
Honestly, I would not have waited in that line with my kids. I had seven with me yesterday, and the four little boys got to play in the restaurant’s climbing-thingie while the teens and I waited in line.
One daughter is at “camp” at UNC-Charlotte this week, and they have a CFA outlet there. I know she was planning to go there, because she took all the coupons; it will be interesting to hear if there were any unusual events. There are a lot of summer programs going on, as well as summer-semester classes.
I’d really like to get another milkshake tomorrow, but I don’t see how it will fit into the schedule, unless my husband and I go for a snack after choir practice. I don’t even know what time the Monroe CFA closes!
We are planning to spend a few days in Maine and New Hampshire soon... we WILL drive out of our way to visit the Nashua, NH Chick-fil-A.
I've actually never been in a Chick-fil-A restaurant. The one CFA chicken sandwich we had was at an Akron Aeros minor league baseball game in Akron, Ohio a couple of weeks ago... they had a small CFA kiosk set up along with other concessions at the game. It was really good! Can't wait to see what else is on the CFA menu.
I hope a CFA restaurant opens in Connecticut sometime soon...
Oh, btw... how did the stupid gay "kiss-in" at CFAs go today... anyone know? ;-)
