'So patently false' Obama removed Churchill bust from the White House

Mitt Romney has vowed to return a bust of Winston Churchill to the White House if elected president.
The only problem: it's already there.
Responding to Romney's claim that the bust has been removed from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. -- perpetuated in conservative Charles Krauthammer's Friday column in the Washington Post -- White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer on Friday called the rumor "so patently false" that he had to respond.
Though President Obama did move the bust out of the Oval Office -- and replaced it with a bust of President Abraham Lincoln -- it's still in the White House, just moved to the residence, outside the Treaty Room. "News outlets have debunked this claim time and again," Pfeiffer wrote in an unusual fact-check blog post on the White House website.
In case those reports haven't satisfied critics, Pfeiffer also offers up a 2010 photo of the president and British Prime Minister David Cameron looking at the bust along with his post.
"Hopefully this clears things up a bit and prevents folks from making this ridiculous claim again," Pfeiffer said.

And to think they let anyone take a picture of them like that! How hard is it to place the bust on a higher shelf so you can regard it without being upstaged by your own derriere?
It is rumored that one of his slaves retrieved it from a septic tank where Obama instructed it be placed, cleaned it up, and put it back on display.

They are liars. There was ample evidence at the time that it was sent back to England, because the Brits were upset about it.

There are two busts .One WAS sent back and the other was confirmed from the White house Curator office.Obama is lying.
She offers no quote that Romney said anything but returning the Churchill bust to the Oval Office, a place where even the White House spokesperson says it is not. Since Romney is not Charles Krauthammer, her specifics do not meet the facts. Thus this reportage is not worth this reporter's probity, which is good since she has none if she considers this story accurate.

So, four years later they finally come up with ‘this is not true.’ Before which they said nothing.
Waiting to tell the Truth until the election? I doubt it. Suddenly realized that it made them look like marxists and would be used by the Repubs? Maybe.
The British have reported that the Bust referred to in the article was indeed returned and that the bust displayed for Cameron's 2010 visit was a DIFFERENT bust that the White House has had since the 1960s.

Pretty close. It has been revealed that a second, and completely different, Churchill bust was displayed for the Cameron visit. I suspect that they pulled it out of storage just for the occasion, then had it removed afterward.
This is such a lame spin. Obama thinks the Left still owns the entire media and that this would not be exposed.
