Tension over the Boy Scouts of America's anti-gay policy reached the Sacramento region this week after 10 members of an area summer camp staff walked out in response to the firing of a gay staff member.
Local BSA officials said the young man was fired not because he is gay, but because he failed to heed repeated requests to dress appropriately for camp. Specifically at issue were his painted fingernails and earring, although one senior official said there were also complaints about his mannerisms and behavior.

On the other side, Randy Thomasson, president of the website SaveCalifornia.com, which bills itself as an advocate for traditional family values, said the Scouts had every right to dismiss Griffin.
"The Scout policy is well known," Thomasson said. "The Boy Scouts have high standards for behavior. The Boy Scouts ought to be commended for maintaining their high standards.
"This guy should not have been working there once he decided he was against their stance on sexuality," he said.
Still, the firing came as a shock to Griffin, a Vacaville native who grew up in a Scouting family.
"As I grew up in the Boy Scouts, I realized I was queer at a young age," he said.

Any leftist who doesn’t like the Boy Scouts of America is free to create the Queer Scouts of America (QSA) and see how far that gets them. Seriously. This is supposedly a free country. Don’t like the BSA? Create your own scouts or shut up!!!
The bottom line which NO ONE talks is:
No parent wants their kids around some freak like this.
Why don’t the gays start the “Gay Boy Scouts” or the “Man-Boy Love Scouts” instead of trying to destroy this very successful PRIVATE organization?
Why? Because NO ONE would join it and it would be a miserable failure. So instead the gays have to destroy what they can not ever hope to build.

Like you wrote, nothing, NOTHING, prevents them from creating their own scouting organization. They can populate it with as many queers and other sex deviants as they can find. But NO! That might take work, so they’d rather piss in our pool instead.
Same thing goes for all the government crap they pull. Want to help the poor, give money to educate people, or simply pay more taxes? Why do folks think it is okay to allow a homo around young boys in a camping environment where there could be nudity? Would one allow their daughter to go to a camp run by heterosexual men? It’s openly inviting all kinds of problems.
Homo’s should not be around boys that may be scantily dressed anymore than heterosexual men should be around young girls where there is a possibility of nudity. Seriously, what is wrong with people.

here we go again, a homosexual knows the rules, knows he is not supposed to be there, knows how to dress, and yet again the homo has to disregard the rules to suit their own ideas and then they wonder why they get laid off etc.
I couldn’t give a crap if 30 quit in his favor the fact is the rules are rules and because a homo likes ot get off sexually in a very unhealthy unantural way then so be it.
So ten of those were in one camp in the “Sacramento region.” No wonder we’re seeing such weird policies in business and government. They roll down from the affluent political/regulator class, which is obviously more saturated with queers than the general population. Must be that easy money and easy living from government debt.
