As NewsBusters previously reported, ABC's Brian Ross on Friday falsely accused a Tea Party member of being the "James" Holmes that orchestrated the movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colorado.
"Jim" Holmes during an interview with the Daily Caller had some harsh words for his accuser saying, "What kind of idiot makes that kind of statement?
Really, seriously, how do we take a journalist seriously when its pretty clear they really havent done any sort of check on their facts? told the Caller's Alex Pappas:
Holmes informed Pappas that ABC News didnt contact him before Ross went on air.
In fact, he still hasnt heard from anyone there or received a direct apology...

I sincerely hope both Mr. Holmes and the local Tea Party sue Mr. Ross and ABC News for $10 Million for knowingly slandering him, and causing mental anguish, and fear for his and their safety.
Of course you would hear the glee from Brian Ross if he discovered “James Holmes” was a member of the NAACP,or AFL-CIO
or GLADD or...and of course it would be thrown out to the public to chew and digest.
I think not!!!!
He would never even go there!!!
These people don’t deserve to treated as rational adults. They are not.
It is depressing to know that this country is heading for a very violent future if there is a large portion of the population that encourage the actions and statements like Brian Ross and George Stephanopoulos.
Thanks tsowellfan.
or not...
Somebody might tell that nitwit the illegals were in an F250 from what I heard, it wasn’t a semi.
25 people in a pickup truck and this idjit feels sorry for them but clearly despises Americans who adhere to the Constitution.
Tax This Libturd More Already, he will be progressively humanistic and activate his big dumb mouth from the libturd bastion of Vancouver/Seattle. I’ll bet he rides a fixie and has an ironic beard. Watch out for snakes boy, some are venomous and will bite you on your big dumb hiney, or face, hard to tell the diff.
Mr. Holmes needs to send a demand letter.
Brian Ross is NO idiot, he knew exactly what he was doing. This is the mindset of the “Media,” whenever something tragic happens the first thing that they think of is “How can this help the Democrat Party.” This is how they think. They dont care about the truth, the second Ross said it was a tea party guy he knew it wasn’t true(Obviously he could tell that the guy on the tea party site is 54 years old, James Holmes the killer is 24 years old) so even with the fake “Oh I’m sorry” BS from ABC News, the bell had already been rung cant unring it
Oh and as far as that idiot McLellan that tweeted that message, these are the whack jobs we have to fear. These are the next James Holmes in the making, dont be surprised if Holmes himself wasnt an occupier
Brian Ross, the known terrorist pickup truck bomber?
Yeah a pic of the Ford pickup was on FR earlier today.
Blew a tire and crashed into trees.
I snarked that some liability lawyer has already sued the tire company.
I've heard that both are child molesters. I hope its not true.
Give the MSM a break, when it comes to a comparison of incidents such as littering, rape, assault, vandalism, murder, destruction of public property, public urination and defecation, destruction of private property, and the list can go on, clearly the tea party is way worse than the OWS people....ohh wait
This insecure POS really tries hard to make himself look important......”realist, humanist” ROFL@sissyboy
Yep you’re right. And geography is not his strong point. Goliad, where the crash occurred, is a long long way from west Texas.
The more they talk, the dumber they sound.
“Somebody might tell that nitwit the illegals were in an F250 from what I heard, it wasnt a semi.”
Well, that does it.
We must make pickup trucks illegal.
