An Arapahoe County Court judge has granted a request to seal the case against James Holmes, the 24-year-old shooter who killed 12 and wounded 50 during a screening last night of "The Dark Knight Rises."
The motion, filed in Arapahoe County court, asks for the records in the case to be sealed, including search warrants, affidavits, orders and the "case file."
... disclosure of the court records would be "contrary to public interest" and "could jeopardize the ongoing investigation."

>>Give these guys some credit. I think they can handle it, and better without a nation full of noses in their business.<<
They were so busy high fiving and patting themselves on the back about "all they were going through" and their "quick response", that they let the families of the dead hang for 19 hours.
Tell Tom Sullivan about how well they can handle this.
He was BEGGING for news on his son. 19 hours!!!

Very unfortunate this guy didn’t get taken out in the aftermath.
The state will spend 10s of millions on him before it’s done.

“contrary to public interest”
What in the world does that mean?

Before hearing this I struggled to even ponder the possibility that the
Theater Shooting in Aurora is connected in any way to the Obama people. But then I thought about
Fast & Furious, his
dangerously low approval ratings, all his hidden documents and the possibility that he may think
staying in power would be the most convenient way of making sure those documents are kept hidden and the upcoming
UN Small Arms Treaty (July 27).
After I thought about all of that, there was a small part of me that wondered if The Theater Shooting may have possibly been manipulated into action in one way or another by the Obama people.
But NOW after reading this I struggle less over the possibility that the Obama people may have again manipulated a crime which resulted in deaths in order to advance their anti-gun agenda.

Is this the quick demolition of the Murrah Building all over again?
Way to feed into the conspiracy, judge!

If Obama and Holder can give weapons to Mexican drug cartels, maybe thousands of weapons, knowing full well Mexican, and possibly American citizens would be murdered with them, it would be NO problem for them to pull a stunt like this. Damn sure wouldnt be ethics preventing it. Exactly!

Or it could just be awkward for the left. The new media is moving faster than the lame-stream media and has a large following these days. More now than just 6 months ago.

This is Oklahoma City all over again. OK City was the turning point for Clinton if you recall. I can guarantee the WH views this "opportunity" as a turning point.
1st - anything to distract from FF and economy is good
2nd - they will tie the incident to need for more gun control
3rd - they WILL connect it to gun loving Republicans - facts be damned
To: nightlight7
Don’t worry, it will be unsealed as soon as the U.N. passes, and Obama signs the Small Arms Treaty.

I thought of Loughner too. Of course that was a federal crime, but they whisked him away from that talkative sheriff in very short order.

OKC again?
Part that bother’s me is his lack of “friends”.
Not sure where he learned to build explosives. No military or spook background. No connection to those who used explosives in the military.
Now, his choice of place for this made the need for marksman skills minor issue.
There are still lots of questions:
Unemployed but has money to buy weapons & explosive chemicals?
Acquired explosive skills?
Claimed to be politically neutral? (BS)
Claimed to be agnostic? (BS)
Yes, it smells like a Leftie hiding.

In a perfect world, where filthy scumbags like James Holmes admit their crimes to police, there is no doubt of their guilt, Aurora Police Chief Daniel Oates would bring Holmes from his solitary confinement cell, outside to the steps of police headquarters, put the cowardly little prick to his knees, and then announce in a loud clear voice "I, Aurora Police Chief Daniel Oates, having heard the confession of guilt from the condemned James Holmes, conclude there is no justification for this killer of men, women and children to live even one more minute breathing oxygen, unlike his victims. Therefore I pronounce the sentence of death as provided for under the laws of the State of Colorado, may God have mercy on your soul."
Then Chief Oates puts the barrel of his service revolver to the back of Holmes' head, pulls the trigger, and blasts his brains out.
And I'll bet there would not be a jury anywhere in Colorado that would find Chief Oates 'guilty' of murder.

This guy will get off on a technicality.
No one can (I doubt it) positively identify him. He was wearing a mask.
Put him in a line up with other red headed dudes. Who will be able to pick him out?
Just because his apartment was booby trapped doesn’t mean he did it.
on and on and on....
I wonder how much he was paid, as well as his mother.
