Sources tell FOX31 Denver reporter Justin Joseph that a second man is now a person-of-interest in the Aurora theater shooting investigation. We are not disclosing his identity because he has not been charged.
Twelve people were killed and 58 injured early Friday when James Egan Holmes allegedly opened fire inside the crowded theater.
Neighbors of the person of interest say for the past two days there have been SWAT team and police cars in their alley and unmarked cars in street.
Hes been there about a year, said one neighbor.
Agents showed up again this morning.
I woke up this morning with cops still here trying to look inside his home. At 5:00 a.m. cops showed-up and asked me about (him).
Sources tell Justin Joseph someone made a call from the person of interests phone threatening violence if James Egan Holmes was not released from jail. That call prompted police to issue an alert to find and detain him.

“Also late Saturday, the Aurora Police Department dismissed reports a second individual was being looked at as a person of interest or a suspect in the shooting.
In a statement obtained by Fox News, Aurora Police Department spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson called reports of a second suspect “unconfirmed and inaccurate.”
She confirmed an “associate” of Holmes had been interviewed in relation to the case, but said at this time they do not believe he was involved.
Sources told Fox News a possible second person of interest in the case was being investigated, though authorities were not yet sure if the individual is necessarily tied to the crime.
The person who owns the home where the reported person of interest lives tells FoxNews.com investigators are looking for his tenant because they have interviewed all students from Holmes’s program and his tenant is the only one who they haven’t been able to reach. However, the landlord said he believes the tenant has been in Korea for “weeks.””
That said, the FBI is not all powerful, but all-bungling.

Of course they are, because it's an act of organized domestic terrorism, and they knew it all along.
It is a remarkably interesting turn of events that the Aurora police chief has NYPD intelligence on his resume.
I would even speculate that he took the job there as an assignment in anticipation of just such an attack, but that would imply that there was a gross failure to prevent it, and I don't think that was the case.
Even the vendors that require ID for purchase have no control over what happens to their armor afterwards. At gun shows I see lots of used police armor on sale.
There is another FR post indicating huge quantities of ammo bought and around $15,000 spent. Look for it.

Yeah, I saw that. It’s amazing what you can get with the internet and some credit cards.
The early reports that I heard about an accomplice were that witnesses saw someone go open the door to let the shooter in.
Do we know for sure that he had body armor? In post #78, it talks about him being sold an "assault vest", which is not body armor, but just a vest with lots of pockets for magazines and places to hang gear from. Could that have been mistaken for armor?
He was a science grad student. He probably had all the info he needed at the university.
There is reason to believe that site is operated by a government entity....and that CIA posts there.
But of course, that could just be a conspiracy theory.
Aye. I wouldn’t know but I don’t doubt.
Critter went crazy, that much I know.
ABC News was just so DAMNED eager to tie the patriots of the "Tea Party" to an insane act of mass-murder, that Ross and Stephanopolous just couldn't stop themselves when they did a Google search and found a Jim Holmes on a Tea Party list.
Their wet dream is to connect "Tea Party" and "terrorist" as a permanent meme in the MSM.
Turnabout is fair play. Please share this photo on FR, FB and Twitter, and include "Brian Ross, the convicted child molester" in the accompanying text, so that the picture will be linked on Google to Brian Ross forever. This smarmy prick and ABC "news" deserve it, in spades.
The university says Holmes enrolled in the program last year and was withdrawing. Montgomery says Holmes didn't indicate why he was withdrawing.
Montgomery says Holmes took an oral exam at the end of the semester that all students must pass to continue in the program. She says privacy laws prevent the school from releasing his score.
UPDATE:
According to KMGH, the person of interest was questioned tonight in connection with sending a text message. NOT a suspect in shootings.
I think this is probably the inspiration for that tweet. http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/31293240/detail.html .
About dam time.
The Holmes guy could just as easily have been a lunatic that was paid cash money to sit in the front row, take a call and come open the door when called.
