According to the BBC, Israel has no capital city

On perusing the BBC Sport website, The Commentator was disgusted to see the inherent anti-Israel bias shine through even when it comes to something as trivial as country profiles on their Olympics website.

Every other nation represented on the BBC website has a profile of the country that lists ‘Key Facts’. For instance, Djibouti’s top medal sport is athletics, its population is 879,100 and its capital is Djibouti. In case you were unsure, Iranians are good at wrestling, their capital is Tehran and there are just over 75 million people living there.

But if you’re interested in the state of Israel, you’ll have a hard time obtaining a certain bit of information from the BBC website. Sure, Israel shines at sailing and judo … and it has a population of 7.3 million. But we were interested to know where the BBC placed Israel’s capital.

It seems… nowhere.

Israel is the only country listed, correct at the time of writing, that has no capital according to the BBC. Yet they bestow the honor of having East Jerusalem as a capital on the country of ‘Palestine’.

The One-world corrupt progressives with Saudi retirement plans working at Foggy Bottom, AKA the State Department, considers East Jerusalem the capitol of Palestine and Tel Aviv to be the capitol of Israel. I believe that they do so in contravention to US law.

Not always, or at least not all of them. Modern Israel would likely not exist without the help of the Brits. See “Balfour Declaration”.

Yep. All their fineries and aspirations to elegance lay like dog crap at the feet of how they treat Israel.

But what can you expect from pretenders.

Yet it doesn't matter. Britain is already a Muslim caliphate. They've raped their own honor - no one can do them worse than they've done to themselves. In the end, the Muslims will finish them off by slicing off their heads and sh****ng down their necks.

How do you explain the Balfour Declaration in that case?

Not all Brits are alike. The BBC is not typical “Brit”.

The Brits have always had a dislike for the Jews and anything jewish.

Briefest way to put it is a whole lot of guilt on the part of her majesty's realm. The political segment prevailed when the Empire began to crack, oil was discovered and its use overwhelmed what used to fuel the Empire's commerce, coal. Oil became essential to the Navy, and Britain had none. Persia did. Persia was muslim, and Zion had to go under the bus. Israel knows it. Britain knows it. The world knows it.

Wasn't always that way. In fact, up until the turn of the 20th century, Britain was very supportive of Zionism, and when the strange oil thing happened the Balfour Declaration completed the surrounding of the Jews with millions of koranimals, and Britain and her military left the Jews to fend for themselves. No Aid whatsoever, but the Jews prevailed. Has to be a lot of resentment and guilt there.

Check your facts, Abdul.
Israel exists IN SPITE of the Balfour Declaration, combined with no military help from the brits PLUS the Brit blockade to prevent badly needed European and Russian Jews from entering Israel.

The mandate of Palestine (there has never been a country of Palestine) was to be divided equally between Jew and Muslim. Israel got less than 15%, as I recall.

With friends like that...

That’s a comment on how divided Britain was back then, never mind even more so now.

Remember how things were on the side of Chamberlain versus the side of Churchill? Liberal/Marxist/even Nazi-sympathizing streak very strong on that side in those days; that’d be the side that worked against what Balfour was about.

What’s the big deal? The US State Department has the same policy.

Check out the US passports of children who have dual US/Israeli citizenship, that were born in Jerusalem.

I am disgusted that you do not list Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol with regards to the 2012 Olympic Games, as a frequent reader of your website, I’m appalled that you would reveal such a blatant bias towards a country that finds itself surrounded by a majority that would love nothing less than to push them further into the sea from the tiny strip of land they call home! Israel is a tiny country surrounded from all sides by a majority that surely hate them, yet, Israel compromises at their own detriment and endures hatred from all sides so as to appease the likes of the BBC and others. However, despite Israel’s tolerance, you still deny them the very capitol they were promised by Almighty God himself, a God which you vehemently deny as evidenced by your refusal to list Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol! I guess your network favors muslims, a majority whose hatred has led to acts of violence without nary a compromise on their part in their mission to destroy a minority who want nothing more than to live in peace with their neighbors! I am ashamed of the BBC, and I will forever see its’ stories through a prism of blatant bias on your part! Sincerely, Bryan Hipple, Tucson, Az. United States of America

Right. We must unilaterally endorse the US State Department’s policies, no matter what they are, and no matter whether or not it’s been taken over by leftists. Got it.

Whatever the rest of the world recognizes or not this building is located in Jerusalem. You define a national political capital by where the national legislature is located.
